'But Bianca, this dress is too short' I whined pulling the dress Bianca gave me down trying to get it to reach my knees.
'I can't go in this dress it exposes too much skin' I complained
Bianca gave me a disapproving look.
'Will you just stop all the whining and complains, I'm trying to help you here' she said ignoring my complains and searching for a short match my dress. She brought out a black shoe out grinning.
'This is perfect' she said
I stared at it in horror.
'There is no way I'm gonna wear that it's too high and I bet I'm gonna break my bones trying to get around in that'
She put it away disappointed.
'Well shoes can wait, let's get your makeup done' she said in a singsong voice pushing me in a chair facing a mirror
After several minutes of painting my face and tugging at my hair which called styling, she was done.
I was surprised at the transformation even I had to admit I looked beautiful.
I couldn't believe the girl staring at me in the mirror is me, the dark makeup made my eyes stand out'Don't you like it?' Bianca asked proud of her work
'For the first time I have to agree with you, it's a bit okay' I said putting on an indifferent look
'A bit okay?, u know you love it just admit it, anyway let me get you the perfect shoes' she said going to her room.
I considered changing the dress I was wearing since I wasn't comfortable with it when Audrey walked in.
'Ava, ......................oh my God Ava is this you?' Audrey asked almost dropping her bag in shock.
'No it's Sophia her cousin, have you seen Ava' I asked her
'Sorry Ava, it's just that I've never seen you with make-up and a dress, you looked kinda different' she said stressing the last word.
'Different, how?' I asked
'Positively different' she said smiling. She was wearing a black short dress that stopped at her mid thigh, her makeup was light and beautiful
'You don't look bad either' I said still trying to pull my dress
'I bet I don't' she said flipping her red hair and showing off her curves. God really gave her a great body.
I opened my mouth to say something when Bianca walked in
'I got the perfect shoe?' Bianca said waving a black shoe with low heel
Aargh, Bianca and heels!!!'Audrey you look great' she said throwing the shoes at my direction
'Thanks' Audrey replied sitting in front of the mirror.
I wore the shoes and tried to stand on it, well not that bad
I was glad the shoes were a bit comfortable because I knew Bianca was really stubborn and nothing in the world was gonna make her mind.I knew getting to her to change her mind was almost impossible but it doesn't hurt to try right?
'Bianca' I called making my voice sound as meek as possible.
'What?' She asked giving me a murderous glare that silenced me, she already knew what I wanted to ask.
'Nothing'
'Better' she said
'Audrey, don't you think my dress's too short?' I asked as softly as possible hoping Bianca wouldn't hear
Even if she didn't, Audrey would have made her
'No, I don't think it's too short, besides mine is even shorter than yours and there's no way I'm gonna let you change it' she said in her loud voice admiring her self in the mirror.
I looked at Bianca who gave me a questioning look and I gave her a sheepish smile I was hoping she wouldn't say anything and she didn't, she just turned and left.
'Really, you don't think it's short' I asked unsure
'Yeah, and I know you wanna impress Adrian don't you?'
My cheeks turned slightly red as I heard his name.
'You didn't tell me he was gonna be at the party, did you?' I asked raising an eyebrow and folding her arms.
'Well I guessed you'd figure that out yourself, well we're getting late' she said adding finishing touches to her already perfect makeup.
'Well then, what are we waiting for?'
