I slammed my locker shut after taking my books and turned to go but stopped dead in my tracks when I saw Travis."Hey beautiful" He started grinning.
"Hi" I said awkwardly, I don't really like it when everyone got their attention on me not missing the glares girls sent my way "what are you doing here?"
"We're taking the same class and I figured we'll go together" He said like it was obvious.
I sighed deeply looking anywhere but him, seriously, how's he not affected by all this attention?
"Yeah" I muttered.
He stared at me his eyes alight with amusement.
"What?"
"Nothing"
"If it's nothing can you just stop staring at me like that and move?" I asked awkwardly tightening my grasp on my books.
"Nope I'll rather stare at you all day" He said.
A blush crept it's way to my cheeks.
I walked past him "if you're gonna stand there all day you can, I'm late for class already" I quickened my steps hoping he wouldn't caught up with me.
"Hey, I said I wanted us to go together, remember?" I mentally cursed, before shaking my head slightly in response, what was I even supposed to reply him with anyway? He said something to which I hummed in response refusing to look at him.
I walked into class just in time, spotting a good seat I sat down setting my books on the table.
I heard him plop on the seat next to me which earned me mean looks from his fan girls.
I ignored him as much as I could flipping my notebook over and began to doodle on it.
"Ava" He mused "Nice pants the teacher got there, isn't it?"
I glanced at the teacher from the corner of my eyes and I had to bite the inside of my cheek to prevent myself from bursting into laughter, In fact every thing he wore was damn right hilarious.
I stared hard at my paper holding my pen tightly.
I tried to concentrate in class but I kept failing because of Travis, if I keep having classes with Travis I wonder how I'll keep my grades.
"Ava" Travis whispered
"Will you please just shut up?" I asked irritatedly still not looking at him, he was really getting on my nerves.
"Miss Black, will you please keep it down?" The teacher asked more like stated, staring at me through his black rimmed glasses, I nodded my head frantically trying not to laugh at his weird dressing.
I could swear I heard him mutter something like good before turning to face the class, I heaved a sigh of relief his stare was starting to creep me out.
"Wow he really is strict" Travis stated.
"Please I really wanna concentrate" I hissed through gritted teeth, the teacher sent me a warning glare. He didn't seem to get it because he chuckled softly.
I decided to ignore him, no matter what he said I didn't spare him a glance, doodling away on my notebook, when he saw I wasn't willing to talk or even respond he gave up.
I smiled to myself glancing at my watch ten more minutes, I leaned back waiting for the class to end and trust me, it felt like eternity.
**********
I walked home since Audrey wasn't in school and she was my ride, and it wasn't a big deal since my house was just a twenty minute walk from school.
