IN LOVE WITH HIM

Chapter Twelve

  I woke up with a yawn, stretching my body lazily.

I glanced at the wall clock 8:00, a wave of panic hit me, why didn't my alarm clock wake me? I jumped out of bed before remembering it's Saturday.

I relaxed plopping back unto the bed and staring at the ceiling, I'm home alone today, Bianca's gone to college and Mom said she was going out today, I wonder why she didn't wake me up before she left.

I lift myself lazily off the bed and walked into the bathroom I proceeded to brush my teeth, moving back inside, I changed into a black tank top and sweatpants, The heaven of comfy cloths.

I pushed back the stray hair that kept getting into my eyes with a huff, before brushing my hair and pulling it into a messy bun.

I strode down the stairs into the living room. I pulled out a tub of ice cream from the refrigerator, yeah that's how lazy I am, I don't wanna cook or even make cereal.

I flopped into the sofa picking up a remote on the coffee table and putting my legs on the table and turning on the TV.

'Now this is where the ice cream comes' in I say to my self relaxing on the sofa and picking up the ice cream.

Minutes later I was a mess, I had cried my eyes out stuffed a lot of junk in my system and laughed a lot, I was about sleeping when a knock on the door jolted me back to reality.

I stood up moving lazily to door, "hold on" I said sleepily, I opened the door gently only yo come to face with Adrian.

All traces of sleep flushed out of my system and I suddenly felt self conscious my hair was sticking out in different places, my mouth had traces of stray ice cream and chocolate and lastly my face puffy with traces of dried tears.

My hands unconsciously went to my hair as I tried to fix it indiscreetly.

"Oh hey" I said smiling.

He scratched his neck awkwardly.

"Ermm, I was hopping if I could drop Addison here, I have a few things to do in town and her mom's not home" He said nervously "well if it's okay with you she actually insisted on staying with you" He added.

So the almighty Adrian's nervous.

"Oh, it's not a problem at all, in fact I'm home alone and Addison's great company" I said smiling reassuringly.

I could swear I heard him heave a sigh of relief.

"Ava!" Addison called running towards me immediately she got to my house, I pulled her into a warm hug.

"I missed you" she mumbled  against my shirt.

"I missed you more sweetheart" I said ruffling her hair looking at her affectionately.

She pulled away grinning widely.

I glanced at Adrian from the corner of my eye he was smiling at his sister with admiration and affection evident in his eyes.

I knew he cared way more for his sister than he showed.

"Addison I'm Lea..."

"Don't talk to me" she said cutting him short folding her arms across her chest, pretending to be angry.

"Why" He asked amusement clearly written on his face.

"You obviously don't trust me"

"And why is that?"

"You didn't want me staying home alone, you think I can't take care of my self"

"But you brought the idea of staying at Ava's"
