"Not so loud," Matt stated, quickly looking around. Damien looked around as well, wondering what he was looking for.

"We need to hide," Matt continued, pulling Damien. Matt quickly walked down an alleyway in a crouched style, and Damien followed his posture. They came to a notch in the side, big enough for the two of them, so Damien pulled Matt in.

"Matt, what's going on with you," Damien questioned. Matt sighed, but then they heard footsteps, so he motioned to Damien to keep quiet. When the noise died down, Matthew sighed heavily.

"Okay," Matt started explaining. "So I might've gotten in trouble with the EarthClan."

"Who- what's the EarthClan?"

"Apparently state rule has fallen, and now we're doing clans. I don't get it either."

"Wait, so who's the EarthClan?"

"We are. California, Nevada, all the way out to Kansas."

"So, what did you do that got you in trouble?"

"I stole a batch of elixir," Matt told Damien. He reached into his satchel and pulled out a vial of clear liquid to show Damien.

"See? According to Virginia, it slows the aging process," Matt continued, putting the vial back in his bag.

"Does that mean if we drink it, we can live forever," Damien questioned. Matt nodded, and the footsteps grew nearer.

"We gotta go," Matt stated, pulling Damien's hand out of the nook and meandering around to avoid the people after him. Damien caught sight of the people following MatPat as they hid in a dark corner.

"The Try Guys are after you," Damien asked Matt. "Why would they just turn on you?"

"You don't know the half of it," Matt responded quietly. Matt led Damien down an open road when they thought they were in the clear.

"Where are you taking me anyways," Damien wondered.

"A safe house. It was more than just me that stole some elixir," Matt explained.

"Matthew," they heard one of The Try Guys shout. Matt and Damien reluctantly turned around to see Ned standing out from the rest of the guys.

"Come on, man," Ned continued. "Don't make this harder than it has to be. We can talk about this."

"We have nothing to discuss, Ned," Matt exclaimed at him.

"Really? Because Jack certainly wants to talk to you. Come back to Kaire and we'll change your sentence."

"You can't sentence me if you can't catch me." Matt took out one of the vials of elixir and immediately downed it.

"No," Ned shouted, running up to Matt, but the reaction to the elixir was too strong. Ned and Damien took big steps backward as the ground began to shake, opening up. A loud scream from Matt made Ned fall into the cracks, but he was saved by Damien.

"I thought you were with him," Ned told Damien.

"No, he just dragged me along, after I got kicked out of Smosh," Damien responded.

"Sorry about that. Was it the elixir?"

"No, we didn't know about any elixir. At least, I didn't." Ned just nodded.

"Everyone knows about the elixir, Damien. If you're acting the way they say you're acting, I'm not surprised they didn't tell you."

"Wait, you've talked to them?"

"Yeah. They're, they're not too happy with your actions." Damien sighed.

"I'm not either," he told Ned. "I didn't mean to hurt Courtney... but she was hurting me. She couldn't tell she was doing anything wrong, but when I fought back I was in the wrong. They're all close-minded, shutting me out when I needed help the most. They're selfish if they think they'd save themself before their friends." Finally, the screaming ceased, but the cracks in the ground remained. Quickly, Keith ran up to Matt to grab him, but he jumped out of the way.
