It's Louis' birthday today. He is turning 27. And Clementine wanted things to be somewhat perfect.

Age: 18

Louis had woke up, looking to his left seeing the empty bed. He quickly sat up, rubbing his face walking to the bathroom.

He grabbed a toothbrush and brushed his teeth, tying his hair up with a pink elastic, washing his face and then putting lotion on it.

He stepped out the bathroom and ran downstairs, still seeing no one. "Clem.." He called out.

The dread head rounded another corner, nearly falling back. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOUIS!" His friends screamed at him, blowing confetti.

His hazel eyes widened in surprise as a smile slowly crept on his face. Clementine stepped forward placing a kiss on his lips, as she wrapped her arms around his torso, feeling a few more pairs topple her small frame.

"Happy birthday Lou, I love you." She whispered.

The man's smile stretched even farther, happy to be around the people he loved, "Thank you guys.. for this." He said over the chatter. "And thank you Clem, I love you more." He spoke in a tone only for her to hear.

Age: 23

Louis had just gotten into his car, buckling his seat belt, exhaling. He hadn't yet received a call from his mum or dad. A part of him knew that he wouldn't receive a call just like he hadn't for the last birthdays, but then another part of him wanted to get maybe just one call.

While gazing off into space, the man heard a vivid vibration come from the phone. He was a little anxious to answer it, he didn't know if he'd been disappointed or somewhat happy.

He finally got the courage and picked up the phone, sighing with disappointment, it wasn't his mum or dad. Just another scammer caller.

Frustratedly, he threw his phone into the backseat, burying his head into his head, feeling tears well up. i just wanted one, just one call. He thought.

He deeply sighed, rubbing his face. Shrugging his broad shoulders, he sped off home, blasting music.

When, he got home. He unlocked the door, walking in with his head down. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOUIS!" Voices yelled. He looked up to see all his friends, chanting, throwing confetti.

A warm smile appeared on his face. "Thank you guys." And before he could react two small hands were pulling on his collar. He looked down and saw a baby, his baby.

"Happy birthday, daddy!" A voice squeaked. Louis stared at his daughter in admiration. She had Clementine's curly hair, her golden eyes, and that nose scrunch she'd do whenever she didn't understand something. But she also had his freckles, and dark skin.

"Thank you guys, for doing this.. again." He said over the voices. "And thank you, to my amazing wife, Clemmy and my baby girl Aaliyah." uh-lee-ah.
