"Lou?" The older woman called out to her husband.

The tall man walked into the room, sitting on the bed. "Hm?"

"Do.. Do you think that Leah is hiding something from us or.. lying to us?" She nervously asked, playing with her small fingers.

Louis sat up. "I don't think so. Why?" He asked.

"I dunno." She sighed. "I can just feel it, it's my mum power." the woman smirked.

Louis chuckled, kissing her cheek. "Should we ask her?"

The woman sighed and nodded. "It's worth a try."

Louis got up, and knocked on her door. "Leah." He called.

The pair heard small footsteps come into their room. "Yes?" She asked.

Aaliyah was a mixture of her mom and dad. She had honey eyes, long curly brown hair that went to her waist, she had a nice figure like her mum, and she was short like her as well.

She had gotten her dad's freckles and musical talents.

"Hi little one." Her dad teasingly said.

She crossed her arms. "I'm not little."

"You're shorter than mum, and she's 5'1." *my height 💀*

"Okay we get it. I'm only 4'11." she giggled, causing her parents to laugh.

Once their laughter died down, Aaliyah cleared her throat getting her parents attention. "So why'd you guys call me in here?"

Clementine and Louis shared glances with each other silently communicating with each other a thing Leah had picked up on.

"We wanna talk to you about-" Louis was cut off. Clem butting in. "We think you're hiding something from us or lying to us."

Louis sighed through his nose, rubbing his head. "Clem.. let me do the talking, okay?" She sighed, nodding her head.

"I'm- Im not hiding anything.." The teen trailed off.

Louis and Clementine both stared at their daughter, eyes burning into her skull.

"Babe, we get it." Her mum spoke up. "We were 17 just like you, hiding things, and having secrets." She said in a neutral tone.

"But we wanna know what's going on with you." Her mum grabbed her hand. "We wanna be apart of your life."

"We don't want you to shut us out." Her dad cut in.

The teen looked at her two parents, her face laced with confusion. "But, i'm not really hiding anything major from you guys.. y'know?"

Louis raised an eyebrow, while Clementine crossed her arms. uh oh.

"What are you trying to say?"

Leah hopped of the bed, standing on the floor. She could sense the irritation radiating off of her two parents.

The small girl shrugged her shoulders, looking at the floor. "I'm just saying.. yes, I keep secrets, but their not anything major.. or worth telling you guys." She looked back up at her parents to see disapproved looks on their faces.

Clementine held up a small hand. "So you admit to keeping things from us?"

"I mean.. yes?" She sheepishly said.

"So how long?"

"How long what?"

"Have you been lying to us?" Her mother bitterly said.

"I don't understand why it's such a problem." She rolled her honey eyes. "You said it yourself, you guys kept secrets too, when you were my age." She used the same tone her mum used.
like mother, like daughter.

"Okay. Enough." Louis cut in. "Leah, just go to bed. Me and your mum will discuss this." He looked between his daughter and wife seeing them staring each other down.

And without a word she was gone.

Louis winced. "That went horribly."

Clementine sighed. "I know. I shouldn't of been so hard on her. I should talk to her." Louis motioned for her to go. "Come with me?"

The two of them quietly went into her room to not find her there. "Check downstairs." He whispered.

They both stepped into the kitchen to hear their daughters voice, talking to someone.

"No, I can't tell them. My parents would freak if they found out."

The two adults raised their eyebrows intently listening on.

"My mum is curious.. but I can't say anything, I'm scared."

"I think you should tell them." A voice came from the phone.

"Emily. I can't tell them. I haven't told anyone not.. even Chris. You're the only one that's knows." She cried into the phone.

"You need to tell Chris.. he is the boyfriend after all." Her friend told her.

"Em, how do I tell Chris and my parents that I'm.. pregnant?"

Clementine nearly fainted Louis barely catching her.

While the teen was walking out the kitchen she was met with her the angry, somber looks of her parents.

"So this is what you were hiding."
