summary: a mess that leads into a fight.
clem & louis do live together. and they are in college.

"louis!" she yelled.

with an annoyed sigh, he picked his head up. "yes clem?"

she rose a brow "how many times?"

"how may times for what?"

"are you're gonna leave a BIG MESS?" she yelled.

he pulled a face. "what mess?"

clementine pointed to the over filled laundry basket. they both had a little system going on, they would each have a week of who did the laundry and in this instance it was louis' week.

louis has shrugged and muttered an apology which made clem even more mad. she rambled and went on and on about how he should take more responsibility. "you're so irresponsible. it's so-"

he sighed, running a hand over his face. "-look clem, i'm sorry. i'll do better."

"okay." she let out a short breath, "i'm gonna get a drink to calm my nerves."

louis nodded his head, "that sounds like a great place to start."

clem goes to the kitchen and takes a box of tea down from the cabinet. she flips open the lid, but the box is empty.

she had a look of confusion on her face. "are we out of tea?"

louis made a 'yikes' face and says "oh i must've used the last bag."

her small hands clench around the box, crumpling the cardboard while her eyes roll.

"and you didn't buy more? you just left an empty box on the shelf?" her tone was agitated, i mean why was it so hard for him to replenish something when he's done with it?

"look, i'm juggling a lot this year. why am i the one that always has to get the groceries?" his tone was snarky, almost as if it was degrading.

clementine rolled her eyes for the 50th time, "because you're always using things up and putting empty containers back!"

"for example" she held up a hand listing things off, "last week, you left a carton of milk in the fridge that had one sip left. one. sip."

louis shrugged, still not seeing the point. "i thought you could've used the rest with you tea."

her face was red with anger now, "we don't have any tea!" she shouted.

louis took a defensive step back from the one her voice. "hey now, i think you'd better calm down."

sighing out loud, clem ran a hand through her hair. "okay. let's comprise."

"go on."

"next time we run out of the things, just let know. text me or make a list." she calmly said.

"that's fair, i'll do that next time."

"should've did that the first time." she said in a low whisper.
