It was a cold Autumn day and Jax was currently pouring over his battle plans for the third time that day. He knew he should take a break but he just couldn't, not with everything going on, it didn't feel right to him. He wished he could spend more time with his friends, he really did, but this war was life and death. The war had been raging on for a good four years and it didn't feel like it was ending anytime soon. Gilly came up next to him and rested her chin on his shoulder. He took in her rough appearance and smiled. No matter how bad things got Gilly stayed the same. She had a light pink scar on her cheek, but was still beautiful. They began to fall in love when they were 14, and they began dating. They were now 16, and still together.
Summer had been a blur of battle plans and training exercises, and now that they were back in school it was even busier. " Hey, ya know society does miss seeing your face." Gilly said. Jax sighed, " Honestly I feel like I haven't been outside in ages!" Gilly looked like she was about to answer, when a bright gold light shown throughout the room. Jax wrapped a protective arm around Gilly who lifted her sword the next thing they knew they blacked out.
When they came too they were in a dark room. Jax looked over to Gilly with an alarmed expression. Gilly shifted to Jax's side. " Where are we?" She asked. Jax stood up and went to look for a light switch. He groped around in the dark for a little while before finding a light switch. They gasped at what they saw. They were at Gilly's boot, except it was covered in ivy and looked to be wrecked.
"Where are we? Jax?" Gilly asked with faux bravery. Wherever they were neither of them liked it.  "We should get back to ftrs. I don't know how we got here or why it looks like this but we have tell someone." Jax said. With that they stepped outside, and what they saw made them both stop in there tracks.
