Jax and Gilly ran upstairs to find Ollie, Kayla, and Jocelyn in a pile on the floor. They looked confused, and despite the situation, Gilly found it hard not to laugh at the look on Jocelyn's face. "Where are we? What happened?" Kayla asked. Gilly who was still laughing couldn't answer, so Jax said, " A version of the future." Jax winced, he knew that was blunt. The trio looked at him like he was crazy. They caught them up on what they already knew. "How are we going to get back to our time period." Kayla asked. Jax looked at the ground and asked, " You don't suppose there is a portal here somewhere that happens to be labeled 'time machine' is there?" Ollie let out a little chuckle,"Doubt it."  "Maybe if we get information about this place we could find Flora or another teacher." Gilly suggested. They voted and decided that that was the best plan of action. They looked around for something that they could use as a disguise, but they didn't find anything of use. They tried to stay to the shadows until they got to the center of what used to be the town square. They're wasn't much left of it, a few shops, and the school, and that was it. "We need to find someone we know we can trust." Jax said. That proved to be easier said than done. They didn't recognize any of the shop owners or workers and other than that the town was deserted.  They had searched for three hours before finding a shop owner they knew. As they stepped into the shop they were met with a wide eyes stare. "I know how weird this looks, bit we are from the past we're stuck here." Kayla said. "I...I...Ok, well I know who you are, but you need to promise never to mention what you see to anyone." The shop owner said hastily and quietly. They all nodded, confused on what was going on. They were lead to the back of the store where they were met with a stair case into a hidden basement. When the shop owner opened the door they were not prepared for what they saw. Standing there was a group of ten. "Welcome to the resistance headquarters." The shop owner stated. That's when they saw Pete. He stared open eyed and whispered, "What the..?"
