I woke up and herd the shower running. It was a late start day so we werent in a rush. Her bathroom door was open and i could see steam coming out the door. I grabbed a clean towel from her closet and got in the bathroom. I was brushing my teeth while payson finished showering. "Morning baby" i said loud enough so shed hear me over the shower. "Morning babe" she said sticking her head out full of shampoo.
She turned of the water and came out standing on the small towel outside of the shower. I turned the water cold and jumped in. After that i wore my light pink hoodie and gray sweat pants i threw payson a pair of blue jeans some black vans and one of my t shirts. "Robert this looks too big" she started tucking some in and some how managed to make an outfit out of it we walked downstairs and got in her car we passed by Starbucks and got coffee. When we got to school we met with the guys. I ran to them and we jumped on each other and the girls ran to payson. We walked to the table and payson put her hand in mine. "Are you excited for prom!" Layla shouted at payson and zaraya. They both got excited and started talking about it. "Robert lets go take a walk" i herd roshaun call and we walked away. "How you feeling." He asked. "Im good kinda weird idk why" i said. "Are you ganna ask payson to prom.?" I turned to look at roshaun not knowing what to say. We bought a gatorade and we where walking back "you know she really loves you" He said to me. "She will always put you first and the way she's willing to defend u is crazy." I felt my cheeks get hot. "If you where to ask me i think this girl is end game" i looked at him. "Btw good luck with your brothers in law their both in the army and their coming home soon and you happen to be dating their little baby sister" we laughed and i felt nervous she had told me she had brothers but she never really talked about it. When i walked back with roshaun i gave payson her gatorade. "Thank you." I kissed her and we sat there leaning on each other. The bell rang and i walked payson to class after school my dad called me to get home asap payson drove me and stopped at the front of the house. "Ill call you later." She nodded and i walked in my house to see steph with my parents they looked mad. "Robert what is happening here this young girl is saying you have a girlfriend and that you had sex!!" My mom yelled at me. "Yea i have a girlfriend but i can explain" my dad said to be quite and i stopped talking. "Answer ur moms questions robert" "yes i have a girlfriend and yes i had sex with her" they thanked steph and she left. "Who is it" my dad asked. "Payson" my dad looked at me mad. "Well at least shes decent im very upset with you but im glad you didnt get a girl who smokes weed and drinks for fun." (Not that there is anything wrong with that) My mom looked a bit less worried. "I want to meet her i know her parents are leaving for xmas break so i want you to invite her over for new years. Robert we are going to arrange some sort of agreement with her and her parents fo you two act like if you are getting married. My son will not be sleeping with just any girl but his fiance that way our family think that this is serious and wont look down on your mistake." I nodded. And ran out "Robert" i told them id be back and ran to paysons house. "Robert what happened." She asked after she saw me running. "Steph told my parents im dating you and that we had sex and now they think we have to fake or pretend to get engaged so my family wont look down on me." She laughed thinking i was laughing. "They want to see you." She stopped. "Robert we are berally 18 i love you and if i married you id be the happiest but not rn its too soon." I agreed with her but we talked and we walked to my house. "Payson come on in." I looked at my mom smiling at payson. She talked and payson agreed. "On one condition" payson said and my mom smiled. "We are not throwing a dinner party it will all be in the low between us and my parents wont know thru you i will tell them it will only be said if our family members ask." She nodded agreeing.
