"I thought my dad was bad." Killua approached Hiiro on the enormous airship. They were currently on route to Trick Tower where their next task would take place.

"You've heard?" Hiiro's eyes flickered the the white haired boy. She was currently just sitting in the corridor, snacking on a box of pocky acquired from a nearby vending machine.

Killua nodded

"Its weird." Hiiro scrunched her nose "Most people don't really believe me until he kills them." Hiiro laughed softly "He is a bit psychotic. What about your family?"

Killua took a seat next to her, putting his hands behind his head "My whole family is crazy." He sighed "We're assassins. The Zoldycks."

"Ah, you mean Illumis brother?" Hiiro pointed out "I know Illumi. He rarely talks about his family but when he does it's mostly about you, Killua."

"You know my brother?" Killua asked, surprised about her connections. His eyebrows raised as he tilted his head, suggesting he wanted to know more.

Hiiro shrugged "He's okay. Kills a lot, some not even from jobs he took." She noted "But then again, so do we." She gazed at her blood stained hands. They appeared normal, but dozens of lives had been claimed because of her. "Why did you come to the Hunter Exam then? You could've made a killing off of- well, killing."

"I want to become a Hunter." Killua smiled smugly "Imagine the look on mothers face when I turn her in for a huge reward. What about you?"

"I just followed my dad." Hiiro leaned her head against the wall. "I don't really have anywhere to go and we don't have anywhere to truly call home. My only goal in life is to become stronger." She sat up "Plus, Hisoka failed last year, so I want to beat him." Hiiros grin grew "But I still have a long way to go before I can truly face him."

Hiiro jumped up from the bench, arching her back into a stretch. "Have you told Gon about your family yet then?"

"Yeah." Killua pursed his lips "I'm surprised he didn't mind it. Said it was cool and told me about your lineage."

"Agreed." Hiiro nodded "Gon's a interesting person. Hisokas taken an interest to him. Tell him to keep his distance." Walking away from the bench, she gave Killua a little wave "See you later, I'm going to get some sleep." She called out

..........

"72 hours huh?" Hiiro murmered, looking down the skyscraper of a tower. One contestant had tried to climb down and was immediately killed by man eating birds circling Trick Tower.

Ouch.

Hiiro walked back to Hisoka, who was tapping a particular stone brick with his heel clad foot. "This one." He confirmed "Ready?"

"Yep. There's no way to go down the sides." Hiiro stepped closer to Hisoka, who towered over her. The trap door opened, plunging them into darkness. However, instead of brightening, light never came. Darkness only stayed.

"Dad?" Hiiro whispered

"Right here little cat." Hisoka picked Hiiro up in the darkness, propping her up on his shoulders "This is most likely out first task. Dreadfully boring, but I suppose it'll have to do."

For hours, they walked in complete silence and darkness. Their only indication that they were getting closer to the end was a tiny red dot that grew bigger as they walked farther and farther.

Eventually they reached the red dot which seemed to be a flashlight of some sort perched above a closed door. Hisoka opened the door, motioning for Hiiro to duck before she hit her head on the door frame.
