Cody's POV

I sighed, rolling my eyes. "Yes, these kinds of...situations have happened in my life before, but I didn't do anything to Emily. I swear!" I stated, giving them a begging look.

"Cody! It isn't up for discussion! You will marry her. End of discussion." My father snapped.

"Ugh!" I frowned, frustrated. "Damn it! I didn't lie the first time about these kinds of situations, but no one believes me." I muttered under my breath, annoyed and ran my hand through my hair.

I was telling Tristan what happened yesterday while pacing back and forth angrily in my office. I couldn't still believe what happened yesterday. It was unbelievable. Unbelievable! As much as I told them it was a misunderstanding and asked my parents to talk to Samuel and make him change his mind, they didn't listen to me. I had even fucking begged them, but the last thing they said was that I would marry Emily. I felt trapped, but I would never marry her, nor anyone else now. They couldn't force me. Firstly, I wasn't ready for marriage. Especially, because of this stupid reason which I didn't do. It felt like I was in an awful nightmare, but I couldn't wake up. I had even pinched myself a hundred times since yesterday, but I still saw this nightmare.

I breathed deeply, running my hand through my hair in frustration and said. "Can you believe neither my father nor my mother believed me?! I didn't do anything the first time, but I got caught!"

He chuckled, amused. The mister was having fun while listening to me. Of course, it was me who was in trouble. Ugh! What am I going to do?! Maybe, I should run away. How about Ecuador? Maybe Madagascar? They couldn't find me there. Or Ukraine? And there were a lot of beautiful girls too. Or Thailand? I liked Thai girls as well. Moreover, I would enjoy Thai massage while staying there as well; after this stress, I really needed it. Sounds interesting!

"What are you thinking about? I can't follow expression changes in your face anymore?" Tristan asked, amused. "Are you planning to run away?" He teased and burst out laughing.

I gave him a dirty look and demanded. "Don't laugh! I am frustrated."

"OK. Calm down!" He said and pursed his lips together, trying to hold his smile as he raised his arms in surrender. "When is the wedding then?" He asked and burst out laughing.

"Tristan!" I snapped and breathed deeply. "Never! I will only marry her when hell freezes over!" I declared confidently.

"If I was in your place, I wouldn't be so sure. If Dad is at Samuel's side, then I am sure you will be busy with changing your child's diaper in a year." Tristan commented, giving me a mocking grin and shrugged his shoulders.

"Hell no!" I snapped and grimaced as I imagined marrying Emily and having a child. "I don't want to marry nor have children. I am so young. It is too early." I added, horrified and shook my head. "I should talk to my father again. I will beg him again. He should help me." I stated, devastated.

"Good luck!" He exclaimed, smirking.

"Hey Tristan, maybe you should talk to Dad too. Please, help me to convince my father." I pleaded, giving him puppy eyes. "Please, help your little brother. Big brothers always get little siblings back, don't they?!" I added hopefully and gave him a begging look.

He sighed and said. "Fine, I will try, but I am not sure that he will listen to me or anyone else. When I talked to him, he was determined about it. He is so angry at you."

Emily's POV

I was leaning against the headboard in my bedroom. I felt depressed. As much as I talked to my father, he hadn't changed his mind. Especially, after he had known that Carol told everyone what happened at the party. Suddenly, my phone rang, interrupting my thoughts. I breathed deeply and grabbed my phone. It was Jenna. Probably, she heard about it too. I heaved a sigh and picked up my phone.

"I talked to my mother today, he told me that you are going to marry Cody. Is it true? Are you out of your mind?!" She snapped as soon as I greeted her.

"Jenna..."

"I warned you about him. How could you fall into his trap? He doesn't love you. He isn't capable of love. He just uses you. He will throw you away as soon as he gets bored." She declared angrily.

"Jenna, there is nothing between us. It is just a misunderstanding, but you know my father. We couldn't make him believe us." I explained, bored and sighed. "And don't exaggerate, he isn't that bad like you describe. Yes, he is a playboy, but he is not that bad as a person..."

"What?! Don't let him fool you, Emily! He is good at manipulation, but he isn't Prince Charming like you think." She stated furiously.

I rolled my eyes, breathing deeply. "Ok, Jenna. I need to go. Mom is calling me. Bye." I lied and hung up without waiting for her to say anything.

I was working in my office when Cody barged in. He looked angry.

"Ms. Morgan, I am sorry. I couldn't stop..." My secretary pleaded as she rushed after Cody.

"It is okay. You may leave." She nodded and left, closing the door behind her, leaving me alone with the angry jerk.

"It is because of you!" He barked, placing his hands on his hips. "I will never marry you. You and your father can't trap me into this marriage!" He added, frustrated as his eyes shot daggers at me.

I gritted my teeth as I stood up and approached him.

"Don't bark at me! I am not happy either to be trapped with some spoiled emotionless playboy!" I snapped furiously.

He closed his eyes, breathing deeply and opened them as he took a step towards me.

"Talk to your father then. Explain to him that I wasn't doing anything. It was just an accident." He demanded angrily, looking into my eyes. "I talked to my parents, but they don't believe me." He added.

"Why am I not surprised?!" I commented, giving him a mocking smirk. He gritted his teeth, looking into my eyes. "With your reputation, of course, no one will believe us." I added sarcastically.
