Dear reader,
We think we are invincible.
We think by shielding our hearts we have built a wall made of stone around our hearts and when we start to feel something we think someone has found the secret passage. And then we allow ourselves to feel and then we are hurt by the one who opened the secret passage and start to close ourselves off when they just stop reacting to your hugs or simple displays of friendship.
They break us further to pieces we can not identify anymore with a single look. Everything they brightened became dull and useless without the color it had before.
You curse them for making you the way you are now and curse the way you cling to every smile they give to you or the simple return of a hug. So you wait for them through it all and you hope...
That one day they will see the way you look at them and they return the gesture without hesitation.
Until next time my lovely reader...
