"Girl get up!!" tia yelled while hitting my arm. I sat up on the bed and stared at the wall then turned to look at tia. "what time is it?" i asked "its 9:30!" tia replied while looking for an outfit. I got up, picked my outfit out, took a shower, then got dressed.
While i was finishing doing tiana's makeup, the doorbell had rung. "MARIAH SOMEONE IS HERE FOR YOU!" my mom yelled. i figured fuckshit was here to get us so we grabbed our skateboards and went downstairs. To my surprise it wasn't fuckshit at the door, it was ryan.
"oh so you're stalking me now" i jokingly say while walking up to ryan. "how'd you even get my address" i asked.
"fuckshit gave it to me" ryan said while laughing.
"mhmh" tia cleared her throat which grabbed ahold of my attention. "ryan this is tia! my best friend from florida. tia this is ryan, the girl that basically-" but before i could finish my sentence, both ryan and tia decided to interrupt me. "saved your life" they said and laughed "i'm tia, it's nice to meet you" tia said.
"i'm ryan, it's also nice to meet you due to the fact mariah never stops talking about you" ryan said jokingly.
i looked at my wrist watch, the time now read 11:00 a.m. "we should start walking now" i exclaimed. "um we're not walking anymore" ryan said.
i was kinda confused, what did she mean we're not walking?
"what do you mean we're not walking? how else are we supposed to get there?" i asked ryan. "we're not walking because we're driving there" ryan said excitedly. "my parents surprised me with a car yesterday!" she stated. i'm not gonna lie, i'm glad we don't have to walk anymore. ++++ after making a stop to 7-11, we finally got to the shop.
"wow, look who finally decided to show up" fuckshit said. "shut the fuck up nigga" ray replied, "good to see y'all" he added.
i took tia by the hand and pulled her next to me, "guys this is my best friend, tia. tia, this is ray and fuckshit, the ones sitting on the couch are fourthgrade and ruben" i explained.
"nice to meet y'all" she said.
"nice to meet you too" they said in sync. i walked towards the couch and sat next to ruben. "what y'all niggas wanna do today?" fuckshit asked. "we should all go to the movies" ray replied.
i was kinda excited because i loved the movies, plus i loved hanging out with them.
"yeah, i'm down!" tia said. fourthgrade just shook his head. "ruben, you down to go to the movies?" ray asked.
"yeah, sure i'm down" he replied. ++++ "what y'all niggas wanna see" fuckshit said while we were waiting on line. "the texas chainsaw massacre, new generation" tia said happily.
"hey" i heard a voice behind me, it was ruben. "hiiii ruben" i replied. "you look very nice today."
"awww thank you so much. you look great too!"
"enough flirting you two" ryan said jokingly. i looked over to see tia talking to fourthgrade, which was very surprising because he barely talks. "guys, we're next in line" said ray.
"hi! how can i help you today" said the ticket clerk. "hi, can we have 7 tickets for Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The New Generation?"
"of course, that'll be 30 dollars and 45 cents."
"here you go" ray said as he paid the lady. "thanks enjoy the movie!!"
after picking out seats, ryan, tia, and i went to go get some snacks.
"sooo, what's going on between you and ruben, mariah?" tia asked while nudging my arm. "nothing, we're just friends" i replied.
"friends that flirt" ryan added.
"we don't flirt, he was just giving me a compliment and i returned the favor" i explained while paying for the snacks.
"mhm, y'all were also hugging yesterday"
"next thing you know they'll be all like 'i love you so much' and probably go on dates" tia said to ryan.
they were both making kissing noises, they're so annoying but it's funny.
"fuck off" i said jokingly. we all laughed and i'm not going to lie, i liked having a bond with ryan, she's funny.
"come on, we should head back now" tia said. ++++ "you cried like a little bit-" fuckshit said before tia cut him off. "shut up because you jumped like 5 times and the movie wasn't even scary" she said and everybody started laughing.
i felt someone wrap their arm around me, it was ruben. i smiled at him and he smiled back, he is so adorable.
"ryan was scared too!! why you gangin' up on me ma?" fuckshit said in a "hurt" tone.
"shut the hell up" ray said.
we made it outside and walked to our cars since we parked next to each other. "y'all coming to the shop again tomorrow, right?" ray asked.
"of course, is that even a question" i answered. we all said our goodbyes and surprisingly, ruben gave me a hug. ++++ "anddddd we're here" ryan said.
"thanks for the ride home ryan" i said. "yeah, also it was great hanging out with you today" tia added.
"same here, see you guys tomorrow."
"see ya" tia and i said in sync. ++++ once i got out of the shower, i helped tia move her stuff into the guest room.
"have fun in here but not too much fun. goodnight tia" i said while laughing.
