I've sought You in the night
All this loss within my sight
My traumas overrule me
And the end is ever nearing
I prayed to You again
Knowing that I see Your mighty hand
Protect, provide and intervene
But Your voice, I'm never hearing
You are silent as the stars
But I can tell You are not that far
You're presence ever prevalent
For certain, I know I can sense it
I trust that You have me
But I wish You would speak to me
You've given and taken so much
There's no way that I can say I don't see Your love
But this silence is deafening
This uncertainty is weighing me
I don't know where You're taking me
And I know You've said to Trust in thee
So I will trust in You in the silence of the stars
