An Unexpected Reunion Pt. 2

AN: I thought I would go ahead and knock this out the way since it was the last episode of the season.

(YN): The 65th level. Oh, the wonderful memories!

The Behemoth appears before us.

(YN): Fireball!

I fire a Fireball at Behemoth that kills it in a big explosion.

(YN): Endo, take lead! We haven't seen this part of the labyrinth!

Endo: G-Got it! He one-shot that Behemoth...

Endo takes the lead in front of us.

Shea: There's no shortcut?

Tio: We must hurry to them by any means possible!

Myu, whose been on my back the whole time, sniffs the air.

(YN): Here, huh? Nice find, Myu. Hold up, Endo.

Endo stops and turns around.

Endo: What's up?

(YN): My sweet princess found us a shortcut.

Endo: Huh?

(YN): Hajime.

Hajime activates his ring and out comes his Pile Bunker.

Endo: What's that?

Hajime: My Pile Bunker. It's a pile driver that utilizes the immense force created by acceleration–

(YN): I hate to cut you off, Hajime, but this is not the time for a science lesson right now!

The metal rod from the machine burst through the ground.

(YN): Endo. We're going in first. Follow in after us.

I push the machine out the way and jump in first. Then Hajime, Yue, Shea, and Tio and Myu. Me and Hajime land on the small pile of rock made the rod. I then sniff the air and got the scent of blood. I look to my left and see Meld lying in his own blood, then I look to the right to Shizuku and Kaori.

Hajime: You two're are still good friends, huh?

(YN): From the looks of it, they are.

Kaori: Hajime-kun!

Shizuku: (YN)?!

(YN): I missed you, Shizuku. Nice to see you again.

Her eyes widen when she gets a full view of my face. I make my way towards the two. When I get in front of Shizuku, I kneel down to her face.

Shizuku: Wait, (YN)? Wait, what?! What's going on?! (YN), is that really you?!

(YN): Yes, it's me. Don't worry, I'm not with the demon bitch.

I look down and notice a puddle of blood.

(YN): Is this...

Kaori: I'm sorry, (YN)-kun... I would've healed her, but...

(YN): It's alright, Kaori. It's not your fault.

Endo: Guys! I-I brought help!

Ryutaro & Koki: Endo!

(YN): You two did had enough. Leave the rest to me and Hajime.

Shizuku: Be careful, (YN).

(YN): Don't you worry about me, I'll be fine.

I place a small kiss on Shizuku's cheek and smile at her, which made her cheeks slightly red. I then stand to my feet.

(YN): Kaori, thanks for not leaving Shizuku's side. That's now makes you a great friend to me.
