Before I start this chapter, I just want to say I'm really sorry. This is a day late because for some reason I thought it was Wednesday today instead of yesterday. I'll say a bit more at the end of the chapter, but for now, please enjoy.

"Roman, what happened yesterday?" Emile asked as the boy sat down for breakfast after groggily coming downstairs.

"Pops... I saw Remus."

"You what? H-how did you-?"

"It's... it's a long story." Roman launched into an explanation of everything that had happened after school the day before. By the time he was done, he was almost late for school.

"Okay. That's it. Roman, you're staying home today. It's Friday, so I know you don't have rehearsal. I'll call in and tell the school you're sick. You've been so busy with the musical and schoolwork that you need a day. Tomorrow I'm taking you back to that house and talking to his parents. You go ahead and go back to bed, you look like a zombie with how tired you are."

"Wait what? You're not mad at me for going and getting beaten up by my younger brother?"

"Well. I'm a little mad you didn't bring us along, but I'm just glad to see you safe. Now, go back to sleep before I change my mind!"

"Thanks a lot Pops!" Roman pulled out his phone and sent a quick text to Patton and Logan telling them where he was. Then he flopped onto his bed and fell back asleep.

"Oh, Roman's taking today off. He says he has exciting news but he wants to tell us in person. I wonder what happened?" Patton said as he checked the text on his phone.

"I don't know, but I hope that nothing important happens in your classes today."

"Oh it probably won't. Our teachers always warn us before something big, and I can bring him the homework."

"I suppose that is true. Still, I hope he has a good reason for missing school. It is important to stay on top of your studies."

"Well of course you would say that Logie. You're, like, the smartest person ever."

"I highly doubt that statement, but I thank you for thinking so highly of me."

The two continued their idle chatter until the first bell rang and they went to their classes. It was around their second period when Roman woke up. He went back downstairs to find Emile and Remy sitting on the couch. Emile smiled when he saw his son and went to the kitchen to grab a mug of hot chocolate. Remy grinned and turned on the TV to show that they had set up to watch Aladdin.

"You guys didn't have to do this you know." Roman said, plopping himself in between his dads.

"Yeah, but you haven't been able to catch a break since you started school, especially since you got into the musical. You've spent all your free time looking for Remus, and now you found him! We wanted to do something special to celebrate." Emile said.

"Yeah kid, you've been stretching yourself way too thin. You've just gotta relax. You've been giving out a lot of bad vibes with how stressed it's made you." Remy added, taking a sip of coffee.

"I guess you're right." Roman smiled and snuggled into some blankets as the movie started.

Virgil was walking to school, early in the morning as per usual to avoid Dee. This morning however, his older brother caught up with him. "Virgil, wait up!" He called.

"What do you want? I still can't believe you took Roman to Remus knowing full well what was going to happen."

"I just want to talk to you."
