After getting their asses handed to them by the great Colossus Equinox in the universal co-op game Cartooniverse, Danny and Mabel found themselves back at square one, still searching for a way to get the money they needed.

Danny grumbled in anger and jealousy over Colossus's skills and attention, while Mabel couldn't help but have a major admiration for her.

"Wasn't that fantastic, Danny?!" Mabel exclaimed with overwhelming joy as she hopped on Danny's back out of excitement.

Danny let out a frustrated grunt, unable to match Mabel's enthusiasm. "Fantastic? I thought it was overkill," he growled, his jealousy tainting his words. "I mean seriously they were all such show offs!"

"You're one to talk," Mabel smiled poking Danny's cheek. She was clearly oblivious to her friend's inner turmoil, that she continued gushing about the characters they encountered in the video game. "I like those guys, they were so nice and heroic, But my absolute favorite has to be Colossus. I think I might even have a girl crush on her!"

Danny's steps faltered, shock registering on his face. He couldn't believe what he just heard. Jealousy surged through him, and he clenched his teeth, struggling to keep his composure.

Mabel was confused on why Danny had stopped walking so she hopped off his back and started skipping ahead, completely unaware of the impact her words had on her friend.

Danny shook off his previous thoughts and continued walking, unable to let go of his frustrations. "Ugh, I still don't see what's so cool about her, She didn't even transform into her hero form!"

Mabel, still skipping along with her infectious enthusiasm, turned to face Danny. "That's precisely why she's cool, She doesn't need to rely on flashy transformations to prove her strength. It's her confidence, her skills, and her determination that make her cool. She's a true badass!"

"You have to be worthy enough to fight the demon!" She added.

Danny's frustration grew, and he couldn't help but challenge Mabel's perspective. "Oh, I think I'm worthy enough now, If it wasn't a race but a real fight, I'd take on her stupid Demon Ego and defeat her in an instant. Then who will be the cool one by then?" He said with an angry smile.

Danny crossed his arms, trying to mask his jealousy with a smug smile. "So tell me, what makes her so 'cool'? Enlighten me."

"Oh, I don't know like.. everything!" Mabel answered with enthusiasm, listing off Colossus' impressive attributes. "Her wings, Her monster truck, Her taste in fashion, Her incredible reflexes, and yes, her hair!"

Danny's insecurity flared up as he interrupted, "Wait! You don't think I have awesome hair?!"

Mabel quickly realized her unintentional slip and hurried to reassure him. "No, Danny; That's not what I meant, Your hair is cool too! It's just... different. You have your own unique style and charm."

Danny's doubts lingered until he noticed Mabel began walking in another direction, she was about to walk across a bridge. Confused, he called out, "Hey! Where are you going? Johnny is that way!" It was clear that he would rather go back to John Spam than follow Colossus's advice.

Mabel turned around, determination in her eyes. "Yeah, but YouTube is this way. Remember? Colossus said the head of the company can help us!" She pointed across the bridge where YouTube was quite a distance away but still in eyesight.

"Oh no! I don't trust that half-demon one bit!" Danny still stubborn as always would rather do anything else but do what Colossus says.
