Imperfect perfections~ Emerson Barret

Chapter 4

I woke up the next morning in a room I didn't recognise. I turn over to see that I'm sleeping next to Kayla.

"Kay, wake up." I begin to shake her violently.

"Huh. Who's being attacked?!" She shouts as she wakes up. I laugh slightly,

"Where are we?" She shakes her head. I sigh and look down to see that I'm wearing my outfit from yesterday. My head was pounding and I felt sick. I look around the room once again. Kayla had fallen asleep. I decide it's probably best to just get up and explore the house I was in. I get up and walk downstairs to see Emerson and Sebastian sitting there.
"The sleeping beauty has arisen!" Emerson says in a jokey way. I sigh in relief and give him a wave.
"Morning Nat" Sebastian says. Me and Sebastian have gotten to know each other quite well since yesterday. I smile at him too.
"Can I get myself some water please? My head is hurting" Emerson smiles and nods. I walk over to the kitchen and grab out two glasses and I pour water into them.
"Pain killers are in the cabinet next to the one with the glasses" I jump slightly and turn around to see Remington standing there. I smile at him and take out the painkillers. I pull out 4. 2 for me and 2 for Kayla. I swallow the two that I got out for me and take the other ones up to Kayla. I don't want to wake her so I just place them next to the bed and head downstairs.
"Emmy?" I say to him. He looks up and comes to me and gives a huge hug. I hug him back.
"What's wrong Nat?" I pull a pouty face.
"Can I use your makeup?" He smiles and puts his hand around my waist, leading me to his bedroom. When we get there he pulls out an old green day shirt of his and a pair of sweatpants. He hands them to me,
"You can wear these if you want. You might feel more comfortable" I nod and take the clothes from him. He then leads me into his on-suite bathroom where all his makeup is. "Use whatever you want."
"Thank you Emmy" He kisses the top of my head,
"Anytime, Ma cherie." I smile.

I change into his clothes and brush my hair with the hairbrush on the side. I then tie my hair back into a messy bun (since I always carry a bobble with me). I then change into the clothes that Emerson gave me, which fit surprisingly well and apply some light eyeliner and mascara. When I'm happy with how I look, I walk back downstairs. Remington and Emerson were playing mario kart and Sebastian was cooking pancakes. I walk over to Emerson and sit down next to him. He looks at me and whispers in my ear,
"You look good in my clothes" I blush and he returns his focus to mario kart.
I scroll through Instagram for a bit before I realise that their game had finished.
"Do you wanna have a game Nat?" Remington says to me and I nod. He hands me the controller and we start to play 'Rainbow road'. This map never fails to make me rage.

We were around halfway finished with the game and I was full on raging.
"Remington! You absolute roach!!!" I scream at him. He just laughs at me.
"Sucks to suck, Natty." I sigh in frustration and throw a pillow at him. This results in a pillow war between all three of us. Emerson hits me with the pillow and I hit him back and Remington hits us both. Remington is the first one to admit defeat so now it was just me and Emerson. We keep fighting each other until I fall on top of him on the floor and everything goes still. We both just stare at each other until I do something I never thought I would.

I kiss him.

Our lips move in sinc and I move my hands to Emerson's hair before I pull away.
"I'm so sorry..." I trail off. I look at Emerson who looks as shocked as I do.
"Uh.. It's ok." I get off of him and awkwardly sit on the sofa. He sits next to me and we sit in silence.

"I got that on video!!!" I hear Remington yell. I immediately take off and run after him. This is going to be a long day.

Sorry for the late reply! I've not been feeling great but I'm back. I've also started writing a Palaye One shots book which I'm going to update occasionally!
