The stranger met my eyes and his expressions changed."A-are you the owner of this cat?" the stranger asks, slightly unease.
"No, do whatever you want," I say coldly as I turned my back on the stranger. I gripped on the handle tightly and bit my lip. I didn't want to say that!
But I was too anxious to talk to a stranger, that I couldn't help but intimidate him with my brash words.
I immediately ran away and headed back home as I was drenched in rain.
I wonder if the cat is alright.
