i woke up to my mom shouting up at me. Mom: JENNA!!!! GET UP YOU HAVE THAT PARTY TONIGHT!!! Me: Mom it's 10am the party doesn't start until 9pm!! Mom: yes jenna but i thought you said you wanted to go shopping for your outfit? Me: i guess, meet me downstairs in 10 mins and i will be there okay? Mom: ok, don't be any later.
as you probably gathered, i am jenna. tonight there is this massive party and apparently to my friend who is hosting it, everyone is going to the hype house after. i'm not sure it's true, but anything is possible. i rushed into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. which part of me regrets because i went downstairs straight after to a bowl of cereal on my table. tasted gross. when i finished it, my mom rushed me into the car, and we drove off to the mall. Mom: i don't mind if you stay at someone's house tonight, just let me know first okay? Me: yes mom, i will. she basically just gave me a pep talk about parties and sex after. honestly, couldn't have been any more awkward. i told my mom none of that would happen, and at the time i really thought i was telling the truth. We finally arrived at the mall 10 minutes later, when i got out of the car and looked up at it, i genuinely thought i was dreaming. my mum had not bring me here since i was 5. now i'm 18. so i was in shock of why a mall was this big. but i was not going to be complaining. i ran to get a cart for the shopping. i could see behind me that Mom was really happy i was excited to be here. first, we headed into forever 21. it was massive. it literally looked the size of the mall me and mom normally go to. honestly crazy. i was so excited. we walked around for a while. i picked up a couple of dresses and fits to try. but then i saw the most beautiful dress. actually, probably not the most beautiful. but i needed it.

it was perfect for the party. i told my mom. she was really surprised i had found an outfit already because normally i take "forever". i personally didn't agree, but i guess sometimes i take a while. but today. i knew the dress was the one for the party. so we grabbed kids of different sizes and threw them in the cart. i was genuinely so excited to find the right size. so i grabbed the cart and ran to the dressing rooms. my mom wasn't far behind. but by the time she was there i was at the front of the queue. she is such a polite person, she looked so pissed as she walked through all the people at the back of the queue to me. i laughed. we walked over to the dressing room available. and instantly, i found the right size. i was so hyped up, i couldn't wait for the party. mom made me try on all the other clothes also, they were really nice too. so we bought them. the total of our shopping was $248.57. my mom wasn't sure if she wanted to pay that much but she said she always wants to help me. i love her so much.
