Addison's POV (After School)
Finally, school is over. Julie said that she was gonna hang out with Liam and me. I can't wait. It's been a while since Julie has hung out with us.
"Hey, little lady. Ready to go home?" Liam asked as he walked up to me.
"Yeah. Let's just wait for Julie" I said.
Then my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Julie.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Addison. I'm sorry but I can't hang out today. I'm going on a date" Julie said excitedly.
"No way. With who?" I asked, curious.
"Rose," Julie said.
"Rosie hates it when they call her Rose"
"I just do it to annoy her" she laughed.
"Have fun. Just don't do anything stupid" I said.
"No promises. Later" Julie said as she hung up.
"I'm guessing we are not hanging out with her anymore," Liam said.
"How about we go out to eat instead? Let's go to your favorite diner"
"I thought we were having your parents over?"
"My brother invited them over to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday"
"Did he invite you?"
"Yeah but I don't want to go," I said as I played with my fingers.
He lifted my chin up so I was looking into his eyes.
"He won't hurt you anymore. I promise"
"I know that. It's just that I can't face him. It's too hard"
"Don't worry about it then. All you got to think about is what dessert you want" Liam said with a chuckle.
I hugged him.
"You're the best" I said.
"I know" Liam replied as he wrapped his arms around me.
Julie's POV (On her date)
I was having so much fun. I haven't had this much fun in a while. Rosie was such a delight to be around.
"I'm having an amazing time tonight," I said as I interlocked our fingers together.
"Me too. I just wish this night didn't have to end"
"What if it didn't?" I said with a smirk.
"What do you suggest?"
"Let's go back to my house. My parents aren't at home. It will be just the two of us"
"Sounds like fun. I'm in"
I paid for the food and we walked out of the restaurant.
I didn't have a car but I did have my motorcycle. It wasn't brand new or anything but it never broke down on me so it was as good as it can get. I handed a helmet to Rosie as I placed mine on.
I sat down on the seat as Rosie jumped on as well. She grabbed onto my waist. I started the bike up and drove in the direction of my house.
After a few minutes
"We have arrived" I announced as I took my helmet off.
"You know, I have never been on a motorcycle," Rosie said.
"Really? You seemed like the type of girl who would have one"
"I would love to have one but my parents would never let me ride it. They think motorcycles are dangerous" Rosie explained.
"Overprotective parents?" I asked.
"No. I don't think so. They let me do whatever I want but they also love to tell me what I am doing wrong"
"I think they do that because they love you. I wish my parents took an interest in me as yours do" I said.
We both remained silent after that.
"How about we just go inside? We could watch a movie and eat some popcorn?" I said, trying to break the silence.
"Sure" Rosie replied.
I opened the door and stepped out of the way to let Rosie go in first.
She stepped inside and looked around.
"My parents don't care much about appearances. That's why they pretty much don't clean at all" I explained as I tried to tidy up the living room.
"Dude, it's okay. I don't mind" Rosie then wrapped her arms around my neck. "All that matters is that I'm here with you"
She brought her lips to mine. Our lips moved in sync with one another. I was basically on cloud nine until a knock came at the door.
"Ugh. Who could that be?" I said angrily.
I walked over to the door and swung it open.
I was in shock. My eyes were wide open.
"Hello Julie" Erick said as he entered my house. "Hello there. I haven't met you before" Erick greeted as he eyed Rosie.
"I'm Rosie, Julie's friend"
"What are you doing here Erick?" I asked him as I got out of my trance.
"I just came over to see my favorite girl" he said with a smile.
"I stopped being your girl for a long time now"
"But you never got over me. You are still in love with me" Erick said with a smirk.
"Not true. I'm done with you" I said bitterly.
"Whatever you say. How's Addison doing? Still with that idiot Liam?" he asked.
"She's fine. She's happy with Liam and he's not an idiot" I replied.
"I'm sure he's not" Erick said sarcastically.
"At least he cares about Addison, unlike you"
"Don't tell me you believe her over me"
"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?"
"She's a liar. She wanted to do it. I didn't force her or anything"
"Get out" I screamed.
"Fine. Just know this, you have made one huge mistake"
With that, Erick opened the door and slammed it shut.
I couldn't hold back the tears anymore. I let them fall. Rosie saw this and wrapped her arms around me.
"It's okay" she said as she comforted me. "Ex-boyfriend?" she asked.
"Yeah"
"How come he knows about Addison?"
"I introduced them before" I explained. "We have to go to Liam's house. We need to let them know that Erick is back" I said.
"Okay. Let's go" Rosie replied.
We both exited my house and hopped on my bike to go to Liam's place.
"Let's just hope he didn't get the idea to go to Liam's place" I thought to myself.
Liam's POV (At Liam's house)
I can't sleep. Addison had fallen asleep during the movie that we were watching. I was just sitting there, trying to close my eyes but it wasn't working. I always had a problem with sleeping. It's always been like that ever since I was a little kid.
I then decided to get up from the couch and carry Addison upstairs but I heard someone knock on the door. I opened the door and saw that it was Nick.
"I thought you were gonna try and make up with your mom" I said.
"It didn't work. She got even more mad when she saw me. She called me a worthless piece of shit and other junk" Nick explained. "I just need to stay here again"
"Of course. Just sleep on the couch. I'm taking Addison upstairs" I said.
"I'm not feeling that tired. How about we hang out down here for a bit?" Nick asked.
"Sure. I wasn't feeling tired either anyways" I replied. "I'll just put Addison in bed then I'll be back" I said.
"Okay" Nick replied.
As I made my way upstairs and into my room, I couldn't help but stare at Addy. She was so beautiful. Everything about her just makes me fall in love with her all over again. I remember the day we met. The moment that I saw her, I fell head over heels for her. She became my world. I couldn't imagine my life without her. Everything became so different the moment that she walked into my life.
