I Always Be Here For You

Liam's POV (On Monday)
This is the day. I will finally face my parents again. I hope nothing bad happens.
"Baby. Get up. We're gonna be late for school" Addison said as she got up from bed.
"Are you sure you want to go?"
"Yeah"
"If he tries to do anything to you, I swear to god I am going to beat the shit out of him"
"Don't worry. I got this" Addy said with a smile.
I have faith in Addison. I know that she can defend herself on her own.
After a few minutes
"Addy, are you ready yet?" I yelled up the stairs.
"Almost" she yelled back.
"I'll be in the car"
I walked out the door and started up my car.
As I was scrolling through Instagram on my phone, Addy opened the passenger door.
"Let's go" she said.
"You look pretty today" I said as I began driving to school.
"Thanks. I brought a bunch of my clothes last night from my house. I hope you don't mind" she replied.
"I don't. How are your parents doing?"
"They're good. They want to know when we can come over for dinner"
"Maybe tomorrow. Remember that tonight we have my parents coming over" I said with a sigh.
"I know. Do you want me to make something or are we ordering something?"
"Can you make your famous lasagna?"
"Of course. Anything to impress your parents" she said with a smile.
"Thank you baby"
Addison's POV (Biology class)
"Good afternoon class" Mr. Gomez greeted.
"Good afternoon" the whole class greeted.
"Today you will all be presenting your projects to the whole class"
Oh no. That means I will have to talk to stupid Sam.
"Get together with your partner and be ready to present" Mr. Gomez said as he sat down in his chair near his desk.
"Hey Addison" Sam said with a smile.
I didn't want to look up at him so I just stared straight ahead.
"Come on sweetheart. Don't ignore me"
Sam sat down and grabbed my jaw, forcing me to look at him.
"Let me go" I said as I pushed his hand away from me.
"Don't act like you didn't want to do it. You aren't the fucking angel that you think you are"
"I know I ain't. How's that bruise doing?" I replied as I pressed hard on the bruise that was on the top of his forehead.
"Fuck" Sam cursed as he rubbed his bruise.
"What is going on with you two?" Mr. Gomez said as he walked toward us.
"I just can't work with him" I said angrily.
"She's just being a drama queen" Sam replied innocently.
"No I'm not" I said.
"Stop it you two. You both are going to the principal's office" Mr. Gomez yelled.
"Whatever" I yelled back as I walked out the classroom.
Sam followed behind me.
In the principal's office
"Why can't you two just work together" Mrs. Garcia asked.
"He attempted to rape me" I said.
"Addison, I want you to know that what you're saying is a very strong accusation" Mrs. Garcia said. "Sam, did you rape her?" she asked.
"No I didn't. She has been blaming me for everything" Sam replied.
"You see that bruise on his forehead. I did that because he was trying to force himself on me so I had to defend myself" I explained.
"That's so not true. She was trying to get with me. She said that she was bored with her boyfriend and that she wanted to be with someone new" Sam said.
I was so furious at that point. I got up from my chair and slapped the hell out of Sam.
"Addison" Mrs. Garcia screamed.
I walked out of the office. I was done at that point. If she didn't want to believe me, that's her problem but I'm not working with Sam.
Liam's POV (At the end of the day)
Addison texted me saying that she was waiting by the car for me.
As I was walking, I came face to face with Sam.
"Well, if it isn't the asshole who tried to rape my girlfriend" I said annoyed.
"Your girlfriend was done with your ass and she wanted something new" Sam said with a smirk.
I punched him right in the nose. He started bleeding. He tried to punch me back but I just threw a punch right back.
"Never get near my girlfriend again" I warned as I walked away to my car.
When I reached my car, I saw my girlfriend standing by the passenger door on her phone.
"Waiting for someone darling?" I asked her.
"Yes. I'm waiting for you" she replied as she gave me a quick peck on the lips.
"Well then let's get going. We have to get the dinner ready for my parents" I said.
"Okay, let's go"
At the house (two minutes before Liam's parents arrive)
"If they start talking shit, I'm kicking them out" I said as I was finishing curling Addison's hair.
"They won't baby. They're your parents"
"Your hair is done. Now I have to get dressed" I said as I looked down at my watch.
"Don't worry, I will distract them until you come back" Addy said with a smile.
She looked so beautiful tonight. I couldn't take my eyes off her. I don't know how I got so lucky in meeting her. She is like an angel who came down here to help me with my problems.
I gave her a smile back as I went up the stairs to get changed.
Addison's POV
Ding dong
I walked to the door and opened it.
"Hey there Mr. and Mrs. Archer" I greeted.
"Hello there darling" Mrs. Archer replied with a smile.
"Nice to meet you" Mr. Archer greeted coldly.
"Liam is still upstairs but why don't you guys take a seat until he comes"
"Thank you dear" Mrs. Archer said as she sat down.
Mr. Archer followed suit.
"So, what's your name dear?" Mrs. Archer asked.
"Addison Winters" I said.
"And what is your relationship with my son?"
"I'm his girlfriend"
Mr. Archer then scoffed.
"Is there a problem, Mr. Archer?" I asked.
"No. It's just that a girl like yourself needs to be absolutely crazy to want to date my son"
"David" Mrs. Archer said angrily.
"What? I'm just being truthful. Sweetheart, you shouldn't be with a guy like my son. He is just an alcoholic who has nothing to offer you"
"That's not true. Liam has not been drinking for a while now. He has a well paying job and he treats me very nicely"
"Ha. You must be one stupid bitch to believe a single word to come out his mouth" Mr. Archer said with a chuckle.
"And you must be an absolute asshole to talk about your own son like that" I replied.
As Mr. Archer stared at me with menacing eyes, Liam came downstairs and stood next to me.
"Mother, father, I'm glad that you could both make it"
"Your mother forced me to come here" Mr. Archer explained.
"Shut it David" Mrs. Archer said.
"I will not "shut it" Debra. We came here right on time and our son is not even ready to greet us"
"I'm sorry. I was busy helping my girlfriend with her hair and I lost track of time" Liam explained.
"Helping your girlfriend with her hair? What kind of ridiculousness is that? You're not a real man. What kind of man helps a woman with her hair?"
"A true gentleman. He helps me because I can't do it on my own. I can only do the sides but I can't do the full thing" I said as I tried to defend Liam.
"What a stupid excuse. You are as pathetic as my son. Your parents should be ashamed of you" Mr. Archer said.
I couldn't believe what he just said. I stared at him with menacing eyes and he stared right back. I knew that this was gonna be a long night.
