"What are you doing here so early?" I rubbed my eyes hoping it would make the bright light more tolerable, it didnt.
"The earlier I get here the sooner I get to see you" even this early in the morning he was already making a move
"Okay come in, I'm going to wash my face so I can wake up" I turned around and made my way to the bathroom in the bedroom, walking past a snoring Alisha on the bed
I washed my face with cold water so that it could startle my body awake, not sure if that works but it's worth a shot. I walked back out into the living room to ask Damon a favor
"Dame, can you make some coffee for me please" I spoke mid yawn
"you got it babe" he winked at me, all I could do was glare at him "okay okay, too soon. Jeez" I smiled and turned around to grab the outfit I had ready for today.
I went right into the bathroom to wash my body before putting on my clothes, I couldn't really dress up today since its going to be more work than play today. I went for a pair of black biker shorts with a large white t-shirt that says Chicago on it, my sister bought this one for me a few years back. I tucked one side of the t-shirt into the biker shorts a bit so that it would flatter my figure a little better. I slipped on some comfortable white sneakers and threw my hair up in a messy bun

"What is this guy doing here?" Damon scoffed as I let Drew in the house, I'm honestly surprised Drew even showed up after he blew up on me on Thursday
"He's my friend and he's helping me move" I know its going to take a lot for Damon to hold back, but I also know he'll listen to me. I walked up to him and stood directly in front of him, I hadn't realized how much taller he is than I am. Im 5'5 and he's somewhere around 5'11
"If you want to make it up to me, you'll be nice" he glared down at me, knowing damn well that he is going to listen to me
"Thank you for coming Drew, I need all the help I can get" I know this is awkward for him but I really do need the extra hands, otherwise this could take days
"Anything for you Rach" he smiled at me, I can tell that he's not going to stop..and I have a feeling he's going to try to push Damon's buttons today to get him to act out. I turned to look at Damon and if looks could kill, Drew would be 6 feet underground by now
"okay!" I clapped my hands and spoke loudly hoping to get everyone working in separate rooms "Damon, can you please start taking the bed frame apart. And Drew Ill have you start taking the boxes that are in the kitchen to the moving truck" when they both went their separate ways I let our a sigh of relief
"awkward.." Alisha let out a laugh that I'm sure she was holding in
"shut up and help me grab boxes from the bathroom" she laughed as I pushed her down the hallway
"Hey Rach" I turned from packing some items into a box towards Drew, Damon was right next to me handing me my things
"yeah?" I know that Damon had looked over to him too
"you're looking really good today" he winked at me before taking the box in his hand to the truck
"Rachel he is making it really hard" his knuckles were turning white from how hard he was squeezing his fists "if I blow up you can't blame me, he's asking to get beat up"
I could tell that Drew was doing this on purpose, he's trying to get Damon to blow up..and Damon is easily angered.I walked up to him and put my hands on his stomach, I got on my tippy toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek before falling back flat on my feet
"thank you for trying" the smile on his face was adorable, its like a cute little kid who was just told that his crush likes him back
"of course princess"
Finally! Everything has been unloaded from the truck into my small first floor apartment, I didn't think I would be so excited to be out of that house
Drew continued to try to anger Damon but luckily he wasn't too phased by it, I think giving him that kiss on the cheek really helped.
"alright well I'm going to get out of here" Drew announced as he grabbed his car keys off of my new little counter
"Thank you so much for your help Drew, I appreciate the help" I lead him to the door with Damon staying close by
"You know that I'll do anything for you Rachel" He put his arm around my waist and pulled me in for a hug, when I went to let go and pull away, before I could even register in my head what he was doing, he quickly put his hand on my face and was about to lean in to kiss me
"Alright that's enough!" Damon quickly pushed him off of me, thankfully, because I was so caught off guard that I wasn't sure if I would have caught on fast enough "you've really been trying me today bro, but this is where I draw the line"
I turned to face Damon and tried pushing him a little bit back, the last thing we need right now is another fight
"It didn't look like she was going to stop me man" and that made me spin around so fast that I almost fell over from losing my balance
"you caught me off guard!" I shoved my finger in his face so much that it was nearly up his nose
"you still didn't pull away Rachel" he placed his hand on my waist, trying to pull me closer to him. Not even second later Damon's voice resonated in the small half empty living room
"That's it!"
