=Annabeth=

Annabeth walked inside the room. It was a normal bedroom. Pirate Man sat down in a chair and gestured to the seat across from him.

"I'm good, thanks," Annabeth said indignantly. She didn't trust this man.

"My name's Nick Fury. There's no need to be scared of me," Pirate Man said.

"That's what they all say," she answered, keeping no emotion in her tone.

"Annabeth Chase." Annabeth winced when they said her full name. No one did that anymore. "Your father was Frederick Chase. And your stepmother-"

"Hated me," Annabeth said quickly. "She hated me."

"So you ran away?" Pirate Man asked.

Annabeth nodded.

"I see," Fury said, jotting something down on a notepad. "Born in Virginia, ran to New York, and your family moved to California, right?"

"Yes, sir."

Fury clicked a button and a hologram showed up. "This is Perseus-"

"Percy," Annabeth corrected quickly.

"Percy Jackson. He was shown in some criminal acts throughout the city."

"You have the wrong guy," she said. "Percy's not a criminal. Actually, he's the opposite. He saved your sorry butts hundreds of times." Annabeth clenched her fists. She felt herself getting angry.

Fury narrowed his eyes but didn't say anything.

"We've gone through a lot together, I guess," Annabeth said quietly.

"Are you, perhaps, a partner in crime? A getaway driver?" Pirate Man questioned.

"What? No!" she said, surprised. "I just got my license last week! I'm barely 17!"

"So, to be clear, you, Perse- Percy," he corrected, "and your friends aren't criminals? Terrorists, of any kind?"

"No!"

Fury closed his notepad. "Thank you for your time, Annabeth Chase. We'll see you in a minute."

"Yes, sir. Thank you." Annabeth hurried out of the room.

=Leo=

Thor was his new best friend.

No offense to Jason or anything. Or Chinese Canadian Baby Man.

"So, tell me more about this hammer of yours," Leo said. "Where'd you get it?"

Thor chuckled. "I got it from an elf, much like you, Leo-"

"I'm sorry, what?" Leo said. "I'm an elf?"

"Well, you look like one," Thor said.

"Thanks," Leo said sarcastically. "I've always wanted to be an elf."

"Perfect! You shall be an elf then."

Leo looked at the red head--what was her name again? Natalie?--and whispered, "This guy doesn't know about sarcasm, does he?" Natalie shook her head.

"Not a clue," she whispered back.

"Anyway, I got it from an elf, his name was Eitri, and only certain worthy people could hold it. Me, Vision, my dad, Odin. I could swing it, and it would pull me off into the distance and I would fly. I can also summon lightning with it."
