Tony Stark Has a Plan (and a Kid)

Even before Percy got abducted, he was having a rotten day.

First it was the Spider-dude who was actually Peter. Then he crashed through glass, which really made him dizzy. Then it was the empousa posse that came to chase him as he was walking back home from school. He didn't want to take out his sword in the middle of 5th Street, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

"Long time no see, huh?" Kelli the empousa purred. "Suppose it's going to be like that again after you're sent to the Underworld."

"I wouldn't speak so soon," Percy growled. He slashed at Kelli, but she stepped back into a crack and disappeared. Suddenly her 3 cheerleader friends headed towards him and whacked him in the head. No, he thought. Don't pass out. Don't pass out.

The last thing Percy saw was a man dressed with the American Flag and Spider-Dude before everything went black.

==One Hour Earlier==
=Tony=

"What do you have for me, Friday?" Tony muttered, typing something on his computer.

"Boss, I think you should go to the meeting room. Mr. Nick Fury is waiting for you," Friday prompted.

"I see," Tony said, not taking his eyes off the computer. "Well, I guess this is going to have to wait."

"What is it, Boss?"

"I'm researching this so-called, 'terrorist', on the S.H.I.E.L.D. records. Perseus Achilles Jackson. Heard of him?" Tony glanced at the door, where Steve Rogers was intently rapping on.

"I could do this all day," he shouted.

"Yeah, I know, I know," Tony grumbled.

"I think you should go to the meeting," said Friday knowingly. "It might be relevant."

Tony sighed and sat up from his chair. He gestured to Steve and followed him up to the Tower's meeting room.

Clint looked up at him and grinned. "Ah, the Futurist!" he said sarcastically. "Our lives are saved."

"Shut up, Clint," Tony snapped.

"Go on, Fury," interrupted Natasha.

"Now, as I was saying. I'm here because there was a recent attack in New York City involving someone that's been on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s records for years," said Fury.

"Perseus Jackson?" Tony blurted.

Fury looked at him. "How did you know this?"

"Well, I did some research on the records and I came across him."

"Well, I assume you know what we're here for," Fury said. "Perseus Jackson: kicked out of 6 schools in 6 years. Blown up several gyms and school buses. Could be a threat."

"He's just a kid," Steve put in. "I mean, what could he do to us?"

"That's the thing: we don't know. We need to question him to either confirm our suspicions, or possibly recruit him as an Avenger."

"Alright," said Steve. "Avengers-"

"Assemble," we all chorused.

Tony walked back to the lab. "Friday, I'm going on a field trip."

"Would you like me to prepare your suit?" Friday asked.

"No thanks, Fri. Though I might need it later." Tony ran outside and met face to face with Happy Hogan, his driver.

"Hey, Tony. You going somewhere?" Happy asked.

"Queens," he replied. "I'll be driving this time. You go get a cheeseburger or something like that." Tony hopped in his car and drove along to Queens.

He went to the apartment and knocked on the door. Aunt May answered the door. "Hi, Tony!" she said, surprised. "What do you need?"

"I need to talk to Peter," Tony said.

"Oh! Yes, of course. Peter, honey! You have company!"

"Coming, Aunt May!" a voice said from the kitchen. It was Peter's voice, no doubt.

Tony shuffled into the apartment and said, "Underoos!"

"Yes Mr. Stark?" said Peter's voice.

"We got a mission." Tony adjusted his sunglasses and went to wait in the car. Perseus won't know what hit him.
