Fake News?

=Percy=

Percy jolted awake. So it was Nyx, the goddess of night. His old enemy in Tartarus. He noticed a weird ache in his arms and legs. Percy glanced at the time (4:27 am), and then at Annabeth to make sure she was asleep, and trudged to the bathroom so he could heal.

Percy opened the door and quietly walked to the bathroom at the end of the hallway. He turned on the shower water and willed himself not to get wet but to heal. His aching muscles began to feel better. Percy closed the water and walked out of the bathroom. He was about to open his bedroom door when he heard another door open. Tony.

"Percy?" Tony asked in a tired voice. Percy turned around. "I noticed someone was awake so I came to check it out. Nightmare?"

Percy nodded. "I didn't wake up anyone else, right?"

"No. At least I don't think so. Pepper seems to be fine." Tony went down the stairs, and Percy followed suit. They went into the kitchen and Percy sat by the counter. "What happened? Also, milk?" Tony opened the fridge.

"Yes please," Percy said. "I was back in Tartarus. But it was...darker than usual. Then there were 2 giant dark eyes. It was Nyx, the goddess of night. She-she's coming for me I think."

"Oh." Tony handed him a glass of milk. "If it makes you feel any better...when there were aliens invading New York way back when, after that, I had nightmares for, like, a month. I couldn't sleep. So I would go down to my lab and improve my Iron Man suits. Pepper eventually found out, but after a while they went away."

"What happened with the aliens?" Percy asked, taking a sip of his milk.

"Loki used his scepter and the Tesseract to make a wormhole for the Chitauri, they invaded, blew stuff up. Then S.H.I.E.L.D. decided that it was a good idea to nuke New York City. I carried the nuke into the wormhole before it could blow up the city. Instead it blew up the alien ship. I barely made it out alive," Tony explained.

"Yeah, that's a pretty good reason to have nightmares," Percy said with a weak chuckle.

"So hey," Tony continued, "if you ever need me, you know where to find me. Got it?" Percy nodded. "Kapish. Okay, let's go back upstairs." He got up and and put his glass in the sink. "You done?"

"Yeah," Percy said, handing him his glass.

"Alright. Let's go." Tony and Percy went upstairs together and went into their rooms. "G'night, Percy."

"Night, Tony," Percy said as he closed the door. Annabeth was still fast asleep. Percy slid in next to her and soon enough, he was asleep too.

=Steve=

Steve's alarm woke him up at 5am. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Steve sat up and turned it off. He showered, changed, and went downstairs into the training area/gym (you know what, let's mostly forget what the movie told us and make our own Avengers Tower). Steve went to one of the punching bags and did what he usually did each morning.

After he did his workout (why is this so awkward to write lol), he went outside for his morning jog. Along the way to the bottom, he noticed two glasses in the sink. Wonder where that came from, he thought. Hopefully he would see Sam along the way.
