"I haven't seen you in awhile, lil bro!" Kuroo's face was full of shock. "Akihiro..." come to think of it, Kenma has heard that name before but he never seen him. the blonde guessed it was Kuroo's big brother who he never seemed to adore.

"Akihiro, what are you doing here?" Kuroo's mom asked, equally surprised as Kuroo. "what kind of brother am I if I don't get to meet Tetsurou's very first boyfriend?" Akihiro turned his attention towards Kenma and his smile widened even more. "that must be you, right? you look gorgeous, my bro certainly caught a good one."

his voice sent a chill on Kenma's spine. his smile was wide and welcoming but the look on his eyes was intimidating, almost menacing.

the peaceful atmosphere became awkward and tense. but Akihiro didn't seem to notice as or he just didn't care. he clicked his tongue, "I guess the company is really going to you then." he said playfully, but if you listen closely, you can clearly hear the anger and bitterness in his voice.

"it was always going to be mine, you're no heir, Akihiro." Kuroo said glaring at Akihiro. the said boy's face darkened but immediately returned to the fake grinning face. "I see your humour is still the same." he said. Tetsurou was going to say something else but Kenma lightly tugged on his arm, gesturing him to stop.

he shut his mouth and clenched his jaw, something that Kuroo only does when he's furious, which is rare. everyone fell silent as the tension got thicker. "i guess I'm not welcomed in this dinner." Akihiro said and stood up. he bid his goodbye to his parents.

he turned to leave but stopped, turning back around, he faced Kuroo and mouthed asshole. he then turned towards Kenma and smiled, he took his hand and placed a kiss on it, "I hope to see you soon." he then exited the restaurant, leaving everyone in the table silent for a moment.

"mom, dad, did any of you tell Akihiro? you know he doesn't know how to mind his own business." Kuroo said, finally breaking the silence.

his mom looked at him and Kenma apologetically, "sweetie, I'm so sorry. I only told him not to come over since I'm having dinner with you and your boyfriend." Kuroo shook his head at this and sighed. "it's ok mom, it's not your fault that he can be an ass."

they continued their dinner, the peaceful and light atmosphere thankfully coming back slowly. but Kenma was still kind of scared? no scared is not the word, he felt oddly weird and creeped out. I hope to see you soon. Akihiro's words echoed through his mind.

they are just simple innocent words, but the look on Akihiro's eyes as he said that scared Kenma.

Kuroo was also worried, Akihiro was never concerned about his personal life, why is it now that he's curious about him. his appearance in this dinner wasn't just a coincidence, knowing his brother.
