tetsurou, everyone loved him ever since he was born. he always got gifts from relatives and we're always praised by everyone.

they always said "you will be very successful," or "you will manage the company in the future, it's sure."

from the moment he was born, everyone seemed to forgot about me. everyone turned to Tetsurou.

he was seen as perfect, for them, they never noticed his mistakes, or maybe they ignore it.

he was and still is the "perfect child".

on the other hand, I was hated by my whole family. they never told me that and they tried to make it subtle, but it was obvious. the way they ignored me at times, the way they looked at me with disgust, the way I was treated.

I was never praised. never. even if I got a high grade, all they will say is, "good." and then go back to taking care of their prince, Tetsurou.

what's so good about him anyway?

I'm the one who's supposed to inherit the company, not him.

Tetsurou always tried to play with me or talk with me. but I would ignore him. I detested his guts, everyone thinks he's so perfect. he's such a goody two shoes.

after a few years, he stopped trying, we only spoke at the dinner table at times.

I was neglected by my whole family. and that's why at the age of 15, I joined a gang. they felt like family, the family I never had. they loved me.

I still remember the reaction my parents had when they found out.

"you're a disgrace to this family! you were good for nothing already and now you dare join a group of people who does crimes and are known for their bad reputation?! you do know that you aren't just ruining your reputation right? you're putting dirt on our name. you're so useless. it's good Tetsurou didn't end up like you!"

dad kept on going with the hurtful words while mom just tried to stop him. but disappointment was also clear on her face.

everytime I went to family gatherings or meetings, I was judged. they looked at me with so much hate. they always told me that I was worthless and that I shouldn't be a part of the family at all.

when I heard that of Tetsurou wasn't going to find a partner soon, the company was going to me. I remember feeling happy. I thought it was impossible for Tetsurou to do that and that I was granted to be the heir of the company.

but no. of course not.

my thoughts were interrupted by someone opening the door to my office.

"these are the information we gathered about Kenma Kozume." one of my men said and put down a file on my desk.

I looked through it and was satisfied. they never failed to satisfy me with their work. they are the best at what they do. all I needed to know about that blonde brat was in these papers.

"well, you already know the plan. make sure no evidence is left behind. do not let anyone see your faces. and as always, be clean with your work."
