Kenma looked at the café in front of him and raised his brow. Nekoma Café. the blonde snickered, weird name for sure.

he pulled out his phone and texted Akihiro.

to:Akihiro
we're meeting at Nekoma café, right?

Kenma didn't need a reply when he heard someone call out for him. he turned around and saw Kuroo's big brother. "hey, have you been standing here for long?" he asked. Kenma shook his head, "no I just got here."

"okay, let's go inside, shall we?"

they both walked in the café and sat in a comfortable booth. the place was cozy and welcoming. Kenma liked it a lot.

they each ordered something. Akihiro got a black coffee and Kenma got an apple pie. "so, how did you meet my brother?" the black haired male asked after taking a sip from his cup.

the shorter boy replied, "I first met him when I applied for a job in the company." Akihiro nodded at him.

they talked for awhile until they both finished what they ordered. "hey, you're lunch break is over right?" Kenma nodded at Akihiro. "you need a ride back?"

Kenma thought for a second. even though the blonde got weird vibes from him before, Kenma thinks Akihiro is quite a nice guy, maybe he just misunderstood his personality. "yeah su-" he was cut off when he saw his boss enter the café.

"Akihiro! just the person I was looking for. do you mind if we talk a bit, in private? Kenma, you should go back now, your break is over." Kenma nodded and followed Tetsurou's instructions. the bed head had a serious tone to his voice.

once the blonde was out of sight. Tetsurou looked at his brother and dragged him out of there. he soon found an alleyway where no one was passing by.

"fancy seeing you, Tetsurou." Akihiro said with a sly smirk on his face. the younger immediately grabbed his collar and slammed him to the wall. "do not play games with me, I know what you were trying to do, Akihiro."

the older raised his brow, "oya? I don't know what you mean, I was just talking to the blonde cutie." he still had a smirk plastered on his face, making his younger brother even more furious.

"you're an asshole you know?!" Tetsurou pulled out his phone with one hand and showed the screen to Akihiro.

protect Kenma. Akihiro is planning to kidnap him.

Kuroo tossed his phone to the ground, not giving a damn if it breaks. "what the hell is your problem?" Akihiro pushed his younger brother away, making him stumble back and fall.

"you know what's my problem? you! you're the problem. you've always been a goody two shoes, you've always been the nice child. everyone loved you. and then me, I was always in your shadows. no one ever acknowledged me. IT WAS ALWAYS TETSUROU THIS TETSUROU THAT FROM THE MOMENT YOU WERE BORN! you took everything away from me. i was the one who's supposed to inherit the company. I can't let you steal that away from me too!"

Tetsurou's eyes widen. never in his life has his brother open up to him like this. "Akihiro, Kenma didn't have anything to do with this!"

"yes he does. do you think I don't know that your relationship with Kenma is fake?" Tetsurou was speechless. "oh, silly me. you actually do love him, I forgot." he continued.

"Akihiro, you're dumb to think that I'll let you hurt him that easily." the older one looked at the ground and pulled out his phone from his back pocket.

"you know, there's one thing I like about you."

"I like how naive and easy to fool you are." he showed the screen to Tetsurou, showing Kenma.

with a gun pointed at his head.
