Jack glanced up from underneath his eyebrows to see Scarlett seated on the back of the couch, helping Tooth braid streamers together in a fancy design, looking over Tooth's head every so often to make sure she was doing it right. Jack smiled, not realizing that he was still staring and had slacked off on his job of creating ice ornaments that were going to be hung from the ceiling.

"JACK!" North boomed from the doorway of his office, having left his office long enough to get a cup of cocoa. "EYES ON YOUR WORK!"
Naturally, Tooth was too busy quickly braiding streamers to bother looking up. Bunny was knee deep in painted eggs so he couldn't look at Jack if he wanted to, which he didn't. However, Scarlett looked up to find Jack's piercing blue eyes already on her and she felt her cheeks heating up at his intense stare. Before when she caught Jack looking at her, it was either a gaze of admiration, awe, interest or shyness.... Not he seemed more confident, alluring and his gaze was smoldering, making the room heat up and causing Scarlett's heart to race.

She quickly looked back down at her job, hoping that her red tinted cheeks weren't noticeable behind her red and blond hair. Jack smirked, liking the reaction he got from the girl but went back to his work, carefully crafting large snowballs all different in shape, design or pattern. Taking the tip of his staff, he would chisel drawings or patterns into the ice to make each look unique like how no two snowflakes were the same.

Grabbing an armful of finished balls, he began to walk to the great hall to hang them up. He didn't want to make an accumulation and then a disaster occur and the balls go running away (possibly taking some Easter eggs with them) and then get in trouble for it. He was in trouble enough for freezing the water in the pipes when Bunny was showering that morning so that the rabbit came out with the shape of shower water still frozen around him.

"I'm off to the bathroom!"

Carefully flying to the great hall, he set to work taking one ball at a time, throwing it into the air and freezing it to the ceiling on a string of ice. However, he soon found this job rather difficult on his second round when he decided to carry twice as many balls as last time, realizing that he needed both hands to hold the balls.

Just when he was about to lose his mind, half his luggage was taken from his arms and Jack found himself looking down at Scarlett who smiled up at him, her arms full of balls.

"Need a hand?" she inquired.

"Well I already have two," Jack pointed out. "Though I wouldn't mind the help."
The girl chuckled at his joke, shifting the balls into her arms so she could take a few more, enabling him to use one arm to freeze the balls to the ceiling. They were soon done, and Scarlett brushed off her outfit, covered in pieces of ice and snow. She felt a gaze on her and looked up to find Jack standing with his side to her, looking at her sideways with an intense look on his face.

Scarlett cocked her head to the side, fighting back another blush, "Need anything else?"
Jack tilted his head quizzically, making Scarlett wonder at how he could look intense like a panther one minute then like an innocent little boy the next. She fought the urge to reach up and ruffle his white hair, wondering what it felt like.

"A kiss would lighten the mood...." Jack suggested.

He smirked at the girl, expecting her to blush and either box him in the shoulder or stutter her way out of it. However, he was shocked to see the girl take a step closer, so she was standing close to him, looking up at his tall height. Her gaze was firm and earnest, no fear or shyness but a softness in her eyes but the expression her face almost made Jack thing that she was warning him.... Warning him to not play around and to ensure that he took her seriously.
