North knew that if he didn't do something about it soon, Bunny was going to have a fit. Jack was seated across from Scarlett at the dinner table while Scarlet was seated next to Tooth who wouldn't stop hugging the girl. Bunny was seated at one end of the table with North at the other. Jack's deep gaze on Scarlett was so intense and nonstop that it was only a matter of time before Bunny noticed.

The last thing North needed right now was a giant rabbit getting onto a certain winter spirit about messing with a certain autumn spirit. North cleared his throat.

"Say Jack," he said, glad that the boy snapped out of his stare and looked at North, "Why don't you and Scarlett go out for a bit while I discuss preparations with Bunny, Tooth and Sandy."
Scarlett beamed at Jack across the table which only ended in Jack's face going a pale blue. Of course, none of the guardians or Scarlett had ever seen Jack blush... so when he blushed, instead of going pink... he went blue.

Of course, Scarlett was completely oblivious and just pushed her chair back and skipped away from the table, taking her plate with her to the kitchen.

Jack snapped his head in North's direction the moment that Bunny hopped off to help Scarlett put dishes away.

"What is that all about?" he hissed.

North took on an innocent face, "What are you talking about?"

"Is it really necessary for the two of us to not be present while you four talk? We're not kids!"

"Don't you want to hang out with Scarlett?" North asked, noticing that Tooth was giving him a suspicious look, "If not, I can find Scarlett something to do and you can have some quiet time."

Jack at once snapped his mouth shut. Of course, he wanted to hang out with the girl... but the thing was, he was too proud to admit it and too nervous to know what to do when he was hanging out with her. When he wasn't around her, he craved her presence but the moment he had it, he was at a loss.

"No, it's fine," he said in a whisper, "I'll go with her."
The boy rose to his feet and grabbing his staff, soared slowly out of the room towards the kitchen. When he was gone, Tooth and Sandy both eyed North. A question mark appeared above Sandy's head.

"What?" North whined, "Can't someone other than Cupid play match maker?"

Tooth snickered and began giggling like a little fangirl, "You're right North! They're so cute together! It's so cute how Jack blushes when he's around her!"

Sandy began signing above his head, but it was too fast for the two to understand. When Tooth was about to ask him to repeat, a voice spoke up.

"What am I oblivious about?"

The three snapped around to see Bunny and Scarlett standing there, having just returned from the kitchen to grab the other dishes.

"What are you talking about?" North asked, suddenly feeling nervous.

"Sandy just signed that I am oblivious about 'it'. What's 'it'?"

North and Tooth internally gulped but Scarlett sensed that they weren't going to tell her. Shrugging, she skipped over and grabbed the last plates before heading back into the kitchen while Bunny sat down with his comrades.

When Scarlett came skipping into the room, she found Jack sitting on the counter near the sink, one foot on the counter and the other dangling off while his staff rested over his shoulder. He was lazily tapping the water in the sink with his staff, making the water freeze and then unfreeze.

Scarlett walked over with the rest of the dishes and placed them in the sink. The water froze the moment that the dishes hit the water and Scarlett looked up to see that Jack was staring at her in shock.
