"Hurry up Mingi!", yelled Chief as I was putting my things away in my office. Hana used to come every morning to take roll call but now it's my turn since she's in America. How bad can it be?
I grabbed the clip board and went into the cell room. It wasn't hard and it was very quick to do, at least until I got to him.
"Choi San", I said while looking at the paper. No response. "Choi San?", I said once more, still no answer. I rolled my eyes, already tired of his stubborn ass being here.
"Choi San!", I yelled which finally got his attention.
"What?", he said, trying to act innocent. I just rolled my eyes once more and started writing something on the paper.
"If I call your name one time I expect you to answer", I said while finishing checking up all the names on the list.
"I only listen to Hana", he said while looking at the ceiling of his cell. "Well too bad, your gonna have to listen to me now".
"What makes you think I'll listen to you? Just because I'm behind bars doesn't mean I'll listen to you bastard", I felt my fist ball up hearing the words San had said to me. How dare he speak to me like that? I'll make sure he knows his place cause I know for sure no one can ever speak to me like that.
( Mingi sounds scary as I read what I just wrote 0-0 )
"Listen here San. As long as your behind those bars you'll listen to me whether you like it or not. I get it you don't like me but hey I don't like you either. So stop whining like a baby and act your age. Get over Hana cause she never loved you and never will! She'll never love a monster who killed her own father..", as I said that I felt somewhat powerful? Not sure why but I felt like I just got some weight off my shoulder. I could definitely tell San wasn't expecting me to say that but do I care? Nope.
"You can try and protect her all you want but when I want something I get it"
"You touch her you're dead", I simply said, walking out of the cell room. I gave the clip board to Chief and walked back to the office. Once I stepped inside, Yeosang immediately knew something was wrong.
"What happened now", he said while putting his jacket on his chair. "I swear I'm gonna kill him one day. I don't care if I go to jail or not, he deserves to die", I sat back in my chair and closed my eyes.
"Calm down Mingi. Hana is safe now and we promised to protect her no matter what", Yeosang assured me that Hana will be fine but in my stomach there's still that little doubt that's telling me something bad is gonna happen, and I have a feeling it's gonna get bigger...
