Anxiety. What can we do without him?

One move and something could go wrong

I woke up to Patton calling out my name and the others watching me carefully, "Are you okay Anxiety?" Logan said pushing up his glasses. I nodded and tried to sit up but it felt as if I just got run over by a car "Virgil..you should stay down for a while..we're not sure what happened to you." Patton said with tears in his eyes. I shifted slowly then I looked at Patton again "I don't remember." I said in a quiet voice, Princey sighed "Big deal. He probably just got up to fast then he passed out." Logan nodded "It's possible." Patton nodded slowly and I sighed. 

Princey smirked when I looked at him then when I looked in Patton's direction I saw the shadows again and I flinched, "Virgie? Are you okay?" I nodded "Don't call me that Patton. I prefer to be called Anxiety." Patton's eyes got wider "Oh, well why didn't you tell me before Kiddo?" Princey sighed again "He probably just wants attention. Don't give it to him Patton." I sighed softly then I sat up slowly and tried to stand but Patton wouldn't allow it "No Vir..uh Anxiety I don't want you to move yet." 

I sighed and stood up anyway and walked slowly to my room putting my hand on the wall to support myself. I heard the voices of the others as I entered my room "Roman, you need to be nicer to Anxiety. He could affect Thomas if we get him worked up." I groaned softly as I closed the door and locked it behind me. I felt tears coming to my eyes but held them back until I got in bed then I let them out, every time I sobbed the harder I cried. I stayed like that for about an hour until I heard footsteps coming to my door, it was probably Patton. "Anxiety." I heard Princey say as he knocked on the door he wasn't the one I was expecting "Anxiety..I want to talk to you." at this point I was fed up, "GO AWAY!" I shouted but I didn't hear footsteps retreating "No. I'm not going to leave. I just want to talk to you." I wiped my eyes and I sat up examining my appearance in the mirror next to me then I stood up and trudged to the door and unlocked it then walked back to my bed and laid down again facing away from the door. I heard Princey come in a few moments later, I heard his footsteps coming near my bed then he sat down on it. "Thanks for letting me in..I just wanted to say that I'm sorry." I scoffed and he sighed "I'm being serious, I really shouldn't make you upset." I sighed and shifted "Did Patton put you up to this?" Princey was silent for a moment then he replied "Yeah."

I had figured as much but I didn't say anything else. Princey sighed again and pulled on my shoulder, rolling me over so he could see my face. It caught me off guard so I didn't have time to cover my face, "A-Anxiety..why didn't you.." At that moment his voice seemed to blur out as my breathing got quicker I tried to stop it with my method I created a while back, breathe in 4 seconds, hold it for 7, breathe out for 8 seconds. But it didn't seem to work, "Roman!" I heard Patton yell from down the hallway "Thomas is having a mini panic attack." Patton continued in a shaky voice, I turned my head so Princey didn't notice that I was having a worse one. Princey turned my head and lifted me up "Okay Virgil I want you to breathe with me okay?" I nodded slowly, it was weird that Princey was helping me..it was probably just for Thomas. 

Princey put my hand on his chest and breathed in I did the same then he breathed out and I breathed out, we did this a couple times until I started to feel better and I could breathe on my own. "Are you okay Anxiety?" I nodded "Why did you help me? Was it just for Thomas?" I said in a soft voice. Princey shook his head "I wanted to help you Virgil." I felt my eyes widen for a second then they were normal. "Thomas is okay now Roman!" Patton said coming into my room, then he looked at me "Are you okay Anxiety?" I nodded slowly then Patton smiled "Okiedokie!" Then he turned and left the room, I half expected Princey to follow but he didn't he just stayed where he was.

"Anxiety, I truly am sorry for my behavior. I should've thought of how you would've felt. But I was selfish and trying not to ruin my reputation." I shrugged and he sighed and stood up and walked out of the room shutting the door behind him. I sighed and stood up locking the door then I turned around facing a shadow that was twice the size of me, I gasped and just like before I couldn't move but this time I stayed conscious throughout the whole thing. 

It seemed to be sucking the energy out of me the longer I looked at it so I closed my eyes and unlocked the door and opened it just enough so I could get out. I stumbled out hoping I wouldn't pass out and that one of the others wasn't in the hallway but then the shadow grabbed me by the leg and I screamed trying to grab on to something so that it didn't pull me back into my room. Apparently my scream was heard from the others so they rushed out of their rooms "VIRGIL!" Patton yelled and Princey grabbed his sword from the hilt and was about to slash at it when it started talking "Make one move and I will kill this persona." I felt tears streaming down my cheeks as it pulled me near it's face.

It made me stare into it's eyes draining all my energy and I felt my body go limp but I was still conscious. It smiled and dropped me on the ground after it was satisfied then it disappeared, "Virgil! Are you alright?" Patton said rushing over to me. I groaned and looked at the other sides, I felt weaker then I did before and it was terrible, "He looks paler than usual.." Princey said picking me up and carrying me bridal style to my room. Patton sighed and tears started streaming down his face then he smiled "I'll go make something to eat for Virgil." Logan pushed his glasses up and turned to Princey "I'll help Patton, you stay and watch over Anxiety." Princey nodded and Logan left the room.

 Hey guys! So I was thinking and maybe I could turn this into a series starting out with Virgil first then move on to like Logic or Morality. What do you guys think I should do? Anyways, I love y'all stay safe out there
