Anxiety. What can we do without him?

Paranoia's P.O.V
They were all laughing at me. I could sense it even after I passed out. Why me? Why did I have to be a dark side? I never asked to be Anxiety. I never asked to be Paranoia. What is Thomas feeling right now? Is he freaking out like I am? Should I figure out a way to get the others to help Thomas? Surely they don't want to help me, they just need me for Thomas. Our relationships aren't real right? I awoke again. They were laughing. They're going to hurt me. I want to run but I can't move, I can't breathe, I'm helpless. I'm worthless. I'm nothing.  

Patton's P.O.V
My poor dark strange son! I really want to hug him but we can't get to him without him going into a major attack. But on the other hand that's why we have Deceit and Remus here, they know more about how to help Virgil in this moment. Virgil had never turned into Paranoia before..well not with us here. I glance at Virgil and looked away and it took me a few seconds to realize that I noticed something about him. HE WAS AWAKE!!! I looked at everyone else who were talking in hushed voices across the room then back at Virg..Uh..Paranoia. He had tears streaming down his face and was looking over at the other sides across the room. He started panicking again the moment he saw Deceit and Remus, his sobs echoing throughout the room.

Of course it had to get the attention of the others, I mean that's not a bad thing. Roman and Logan came rushing over while Deceit and Remus remained where they were, Roman kneeled down next to me on one side of Paranoia while Logan was on the other side of him. Paranoia's sobs turned into screams of terror in a matter of seconds which caused Remus and Deceit to launch into action, Deceit went towards Paranoia's head and laid his hand gently on his face. Paranoia pulled back in fear but slowly gave in to Deceits touch.

Deceit's P.O.V 
I'd seen Virgil like this before, he never bothered to tell us why or how he became Paranoia. It was really interesting on how it happened. Either Remus, the other sides, or me would tell him something and he would go running to his room. He would always end up the way he is now after that. We always had to be careful what we had to say around the poor kid, if we slipped up and said something about him he would go into full blown panic.

~Flashback time~
Remus and I were talking to Remy and Emile when Virgil came in, of course it had to be at the wrong moment because Remus was talking about him. "I just don't understand why he want's to leave the light sides so bad. He's a princess in that world. Why can't he just stay there. We don't need him here, he's too weak." Virgil stopped in his tracks as Remus turned around. Remy, Emile, and I tried to stop him but did he listen? Nope. Virgil's breathing got heavy and he fell to his knees gripping his hair so hard I though he would tear tufts out. Remy, Emile, and I rushed over to comfort him while Remus was stuck in place, Virgil started screaming in terror after a couple seconds and his appearance started to change. We never knew what Virgil went through because he would always lock himself in his room even when he was a dark side. His hair changed from it's usual brown color to a light gray and his eyes a dark purple showing none of his irises or pupils. 

He screamed anytime one of us would try to touch him and it was starting to alert the other dark sides such as Dakota, Thomas' Depression, and Phoenix, Thomas' Pride (And Roman's I guess). Dakota rushed in with Phoenix and they stared at Virgil who was now in the corner trying to get away from us, Remy filled them in on what was happening and they both nodded. Remy inched closer to Virgil until he was sitting right next to him, Remy grabbed Virgil's hand gently and Virgil showed slight comfort before going back into another screaming episode. Remy sighed and lifted his hand up and blew purple dust onto Virgil which made him fall asleep. 

Dakota and Emile were talking in one corner of the room while Remy, Phoenix, and I were around Virgil. Remus had left to check on Thomas even though the light sides would probably kick him out. Virgil was still curled up and every time we tried to touch him he would shrink back as if he knew we were there. It took a couple days and he was back to normal. Well sort of. He informed us that him turning into this person called Paranoia wasn't his first time, he never came to us for it. I don't exactly remember how we got him back to normal though.

~End Flashback~

Paranoia's P.O.V (Again)
I opened my eyes when I felt someone touch me. It was Deceit. I tried to move away but I still couldn't move, I heard footsteps and I saw the same people that had helped me many times before, Dakota, Emile, and Remy. Of course Deceit had helped me too I guess that's why I felt so comfortable around him. I hated the fact that the light sides were there. They were never there before. Why are they here now? I started screaming again when Logan tried to touch me. I couldn't stop it. I wish I could. I wish I could just be Virgil Sanders again. But I'm not right now. All I am is a monster.
