Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry recently just reinstated Professor Dumbledore as headmaster. He had been relieved of his duties due to the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, believing Dumbledore to be conspiring against him. It is all a load of rubbish, nonetheless.

It all occurred after my fourth year at Hogwarts. A student by the name of Cedric Diggory had been murdered by Peter Pettigrew, one of the many followers of the dark lord; Voldemort. Harry Potter, who always seems to be in the middle of immense danger due to his impending identity as the chosen one, was there to witness Diggory's death.

After the tragic incident Headmaster Dumbledore requested Harry confess what had truly happened. Harry being devoted to Dumbledore explained Peter Pettigrew had killed Cedric Diggory then resurrected Lord Voldemort through means of a sacrifice. It required a bone from Voldemort's father that had been unwillingly given, blood of the enemy - Harry -  which was forcibly taken, and the flesh of a servant - Pettigrew - that was given willingly.

The Minister Cornelius Fudge was not pleased once Dumbledore told him of the incident. Every wizard had feared Lord Voldemort including Cornelius Fudge. He knew an outbreak of panic would have ensued so to prevent this he accused Dumbledore and Harry of lying. Dolores Umbridge from the ministry of magic became the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts by order of the Minister himself. Everyone knew he wanted to keep a close eye on both Harry and Dumbledore.

Dolores Umbridge unknown to many was an avid follower of Voldemort's ideology. Sometime during her year at Hogwarts she became the Headmaster. This of course was the fault of Harry, Ron, and myself.

Professor Umbridge had been teaching the students basic defensive theory as opposed to real defensive spells. So Harry, Ron, and myself created a club in secrecy named Dumbledore's Army. This club allowed us to teach many wizards defensive spells in the room of requirement. Thinking back on it the name was idiotic and understandably Cornelius Fudge was given proof of Dumbledore conspiring against him when we got caught.

The upturn of events occurred in the ministry itself. Lord Voldemort had been caught in the act of attacking Harry Potter. This proved Harry and Dumbledore's word to be true of Voldemort's return. Cornelius Fudge was then forced to reinstate Albus Dumbledore as headmaster at Hogwarts and resign from his duties as Minister.

This brings me to the present-day September 1st. Harry, Ron and I are now entering our 6th-year at Hogwarts. I have recently just been announced prefect for the Gryffindor house. Prefects are given extra responsibilities and authority over the student body. My duties include looking after the students and in which case I can deduct or add points to each house if needed.

There are four houses at Hogwarts founded by Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Each house categorizes students based on their morals. Notably Gryffindors are known for their courage, bravery, nerve, and chivalry. Hufflepuffs express loyalty, patience, hard work, and honesty. Ravenclaws demonstrate intelligence, wit, cleverness, creativity, and wisdom. Lastly, the most despised house is Slytherin known to demonstrate ambition, leadership, cunningness, determination, and resourcefulness. It is no wonder that Lord Voldemort was placed in Slytherin during his time at Hogwarts. Even more interesting, during my 2nd year at Hogwarts after the Chamber of Secrets had been opened it was revealed that Voldemort - then known as Tom Riddle - was the heir of Salazar Slytherin.
