"Who the fuck are you?!"

You ask her after finally getting over the initial shock of finding the woman.

"What?! It's you who should be answering that question. Who the fuck are you? What are you doing in my apartment?" She looks around the room, finding that you had made yourself at home. "Please, if you need money, let me just call my secretary. I'll tell her to give you the money that you need. There's nothing to steal here!"

"I'm not stealing anything!"

The woman was confused. What were you even doing in her apartment then?

"Okay, okay...just....I know a homeless shelter nearby, alright. Let me just call my secretary." She walks over to the living room to where she had last seen her purse, only to realize that it wasn't there. "Where is it?! I thought you said that you weren't stealing anything."

"Where is what?! I'm not stealing anything, lady! Listen, woman! Who the hell are you? What in the world are you doing here. And for the love of god, I AM NOT HOMELESS. I fucking live here."

You were getting tired of going around in circles. You had signed a contract, this was your place.

The woman sighs and shakes her head. This was her place, her key still worked.

"You can't live here because I live here!"

At her words, you immediately think that you had gotten scammed. It was too good to be true and this had been the outcome. Arguing with a crazy woman that kept saying that you were homeless. The two of you keep going back and forth about who's apartment it is.

"Listen you homeless woman! I live here, okay. I own everything here, alright? That's my couch, my coffee table...what the fuck?!" As she points to everything around, the woman takes notice of the state that the apartment. "Are you familiar with the word, trash can?" There was trash everywhere. Not one empty spot remained in the apartment. "Jesus, you pig." She makes her way to the kitchen where she pulls out a mop and continues ranting about the state of 'her' apartment. You don't bother to follow her around because you're still trying to process how she had managed to get in through the door. It's not until you can't hear her anymore that you head to the kitchen, only to realize that she wasn't there anymore. You panic and start to look for her everywhere but she's nowhere to be found.

"Fucking hell, I think I might have had too much to drink." You mumbled to yourself while you made your way to bed.

A day later and you had installed a heavy-duty lock to insure that no one would come in. More specifically, that crazy woman that claimed to also live there.

You spend the day much more relaxed now that you weren't worried about said woman. It's not until the end of the day when you're taking a bath that you hear her again.

"I fucking told you to get out!"

It scares the crap out of you that you stumbled out of the bath and grab the nearest weapon to search the apartment for her. Once you're sure that she's not inside, you head back to your room, locking it and pushing a chair against it to make sure that no one would come in. You barely slept an hour that night.

You needed to talk to someone about this to tell you that you weren't going crazy. Dialing one of your close friends, you invited him over for drinks and food.

He arrived within the hour and the two caught up with each other's life.

"so liste, I don't want to freak you out but I'm seeing someone."

"Duuuuuudeee! Congrats! That's what I'm talking about!"

Mike holds up his hand for you to give him a high-five and then lowers it when you just stare at him.

"And you think that's a good thing?"

"Well yeah, I mean the last time Andrea and I hooked you up with someone, you bailed out at the last second. This is good though. You got the initiative now. God for you!"

You again stare at him for a while, only to then realize that he thought you were hooking up with someone.

"Mike, I am seeing someone who is not there."

"Ohhhhh, emotionally unavailable woman. I see..."

You rolled your eyes at him and it makes him finally catch on to what you were saying.

"Oh....OH! You mean hallucination. Alright..."

He pulled out a little notebook and pen to start writing details of said woman.

"She's been in my place, a woman..."

"Attractive?"

He asks excitedly. You glare at him and shrug your shoulders. That was the last thing you were going to even think about. She had broke in to your home!

"Okay, okay. So were you drinking?"

You hesitate to answer. Of course, you were drinking. There was hardly a time when you weren't

"Well..."

You started off trying to lie but Mike knew you too well. Calls you out before you even get to finish.

"Fine. But seeing a fucking black-haired control freak, walking around the apartment is not normal for a drunk person, right?"

He explains what he thinks is going on, telling you to go out more and drink less.

"It's been 3 years, (y/n). Move on and try to stop drinking for a week. Maybe too much alcohol is what is causing said hallucination."

You just give him a smile and finish your last drink for the rest of the week. Maybe he was right, being drunk was making you hallucinate the woman.

X

You had actually listened to him and stopped drinking for a week. Which in turn ended up stopping you from seeing the woman again. It was like nothing had ever happened. It made you feel at easy now.

After going about your day, you got ready for bed and went to lay down to finally get some sleep.

"You filthy pig! Get out of my bed. Now!"
