You had visited 6 other apartments in the building but no one seemed to have a clue of what the past owner was like. It was like Lena didn't even exist before everything happened. You were getting tired and you wanted to quit already.

"Come on! We made a deal!"

"Look, even the people around you, don't know you. They didn't even know who you were!"

"Just please. Give it one more day, alright?"

You sighed as you saw her pout. Helping the dead was exhausting. You headed straight home, walking straight to the kitchen as you were starving.

"The can opener is on the right-side drawer."

She tells you after seeing you struggle to open up a can. Listening to her instructions, you opened the drawer to pull out the can opener, only for a piece of paper to fall out. You picked it up and smoothed it out to find that there was also a receipt inside.

"Oh my god! Look a lead."

You tried reading the handwriting but you couldn't make it out.

"I just can't seem to read what it says. Your handwriting sucks."

She just rolls her eyes at you.

"That's definitely a 9."

"Are you sure?"

"I can read my handwriting, okay!"

"Tsk. You can barely even remember your name."

After finding out the address to the dry cleaner in the receipt, you drove over at Lena's insistence. The man at the counter was able to make out what the receipt said and explained that it was for some expensive brand of dress pants.

"Can you tell me about the woman that dropped them off?"

"Oh, that woman. She's quite nice and sexy" It grosses you out as the old man describes Lena but you don't say anything. You needed to more about Lena. "but she's just so dull. Boring. Always brought in her things on the same day and picked them up on the same day too."

"Is there something more about her. I need to know everything about her."

They guy just gives you a strange look but continues.

"I can only think of one word to describe her that would be lonely."

"Alright! That's enough. I don't need a psychological profile from this guy. Can we just please get the pants and go?"

You don't tell her anything. Simply just asking the guy for the pants.

"Oh, I donated them. I waited for a while to have her pick them up but she never did. I'm sorry."

"Idiot! You're fucking crazy! Those were Escada!"

She yells at him but the guy has no idea that she was talking to him.

You ignore her as you thank him and start to walk out.

"What the hell are you doing? Lets go"

"I need the pants."

"What do you need them for? You're dead!"

She frowned at your words. Some part of her believed that she was dead but she didn't want to admit it. Following after you, she got into your car.

"We're here. That's 298. Does it look familiar?"

Lena doesn't say anything as you climb out and head to knock at the door.

"Yes, can I help you?"

"Yes! Hi. I know this will sound crazy but I just want to ask if you know of a certain black-haired woman, who's around 5'3? I..."

"Oh my god! Did my wife hire you? Damn! I knew she'd find out. Whatever she's paying you, I'll triple it. Meet me here at 7. I'll have the check ready. Goodbye"

He just left you in shock after slamming the door closed.

"Well it looks to me like you might be into older men."

Lena just glares as you as you walk back to the car. The two of you don't say anything but you're occasionally giggling when you remember about who Lena might've been hooking up with.

"Shut up, will you? Don't think that I was hooking up with that disgusting old man."

"Kinda looks like you did."

"It's disgusting!"

"Don't care. I'm gonna cash at 8PM today."

"STOP!"

You pressed on the brakes, sighing in relief when there was no one behind you. You turned to glare at her but she was focused on this building.

"I REMEMBER THAT STORE!"

You rolled your eyes and parked in front of the store. The two walk in, hoping that something might trigger her memory but nothing does. You're both about to leave when someone calls for her.

A boy had been running around the store and bumped into a glass signage that ended up falling on him and cutting the side of his neck.

"Is there a doctor here?! Please help!"

The mother begged as the rest of the people dialed 911.

Lena suddenly felt the urge to help.

"Get a clean cloth and put the pressure high on his neck."

"What?! Are you crazy?"

"Just do it."

You did as she asked, demanding the cloth to stop the bleeding. Lena explains to you what to do, all while checking to see what needed her attention. She pointed to a glass shard in his stomach and followed her instructions what do to. She goes on to say some medical terms that you have no clue what she's telling you.

"English, please!"

The people around you give you a weird look but you pay no attention to them.

"His left lung is in distress. Ask for a sharp knife. 5 inches or longer. Also a narrow 6tf tube, alcohol and a sturdy type."

As she mentioned them, you called for them to hand it to you. Stress is piling up on you as Lena tells you you need to do.

"Hold on!"

You take a swing of the vodka and continue with her instructions.

"Do you feel that?" You nod and she continues. "You're going to have to make an incision."

"What the fuck?! Are you crazy?" You whispered to her. "I'm not doing that."

"Listen! This boy's life is at stake!"

"I can't fucking stab him!"

The two of you go back and forth until you eventually give in and cut where she had told you. You inserted the tube as well as the bottle and waited for him to start breathing.

"He's breathing!"

You yelled at everyone.

"I'm a doctor!"

Lena tells you.

"I'm a doctor!"

You repeat after her.

"Oh thank god. The ambulance is on their way. Thank you so much."

"Ask him where the nearest hospital is."

She whispers to you.

"Do you know the closest hospital here?"

He gives you the directions and you leave the scene as he does.
