The Three rebels were no longer being followed but thought it best to move swiftly. Cutting their way through the dense, suffocating undergrowth, fighting through the very air, which hung heavy, moist and still. They came to a clearing, looking up at the night sky the group were paralyzed by the vastness of the stars. They glowed brighter it seemed on this jungle moon, Valon transfixed on this spectacle, neglected to see that hid friends had already moved on.

He ran through the clearing, following the narrow, overgrown path and to the river bank. The water was cold. It was black as coal, the surface unclear, much like Valon's clouded mind. He was conflicted, something in the force drew him closer to the moon but he desperately wanted to escape.

There was a rope bridge, a few metres up the river, it looked dangerous but the group needed to get to the mountain. It looked over the Trandoshan hunting reserve, for it would help with planning and would be a good defensive position against the enemy.

Valon was first, he navigated the narrow bridge, accessing every foot step as it could be his last. The water bellow was unforgiving, ahead was a large waterfall that he'd be dragged off if he fell in. The rickety bridge, was old and broken, covered with moss and missing planks. It began to sway slightly in the midnight breeze.

Every step was taken with caution, Valon took another step this time his foot pierced, straight through the mossy plank. Leaving the young Jedi, hanging their with his left foot, skimming the surface of the water. "Valon" Z cried with concern, "I'm okay, don't worry, just be careful once you cross." Valon replied.

His eyes closed slowly, he envisioned the force itself flowing through his body, breathing the cold night air in which stung his nose. He released, the force energy pushing him, towards the other banking. He landed heavily on his knees, then turned to face his friends who now prepared to cross.

Zinia passed, with little effort, however Leon was much heavier. Leon also hated water, the very thought freezing his muscles. But this time he tried pushing himself forwards every step a challenge. By the time he looked up, acknowledging his friends he was half way. He looked up, grinning in triumph, but then the ropes snapped. Plunging Leon into the frozen depths. "Help" he shouted with every breath he could get. He fought with the water, as if It were his enemy, punching it, kicking it. Only to receive a swift jab from the river, then pushing him under.

"Valon help him!" Z panicked, "I'm trying" he replied. Valon closed his eyes once more, strengthening his connection to the force, he sensed Leon's fear and alarm. Valon's hand raised into the air, stretching his fingers out as far as he could. The force wrapped around Leon's soaked body, pulling him to the shore. As Leon's body returned to land, he abruptly stopped, rope from the bridge had tide caught his ankle, attaching him to the the river bed. Valon tried to pull him free. "Its getting tighter" said Leon, "hold very still" returned Valon.

Valon, lifted his lightsaber from his belt, igniting the powerful weapon. Then with one cut, sliced through the rope that knotted around Leon's ankle. As the blade, cut through the rope, it passed through the river, the hot plasma instantly turned the water to vapor before releasing Leon's leg.

Leon lay on the banking hugging the earth, "don't worry, we're almost there" said Valon. The group, traveled along the narrow pathway for a while longer, before meeting with the jagged mountain, that looked over the valley.

They made camp.

The hot flames of the fire, burned with intensity, dancing in the pitch black sky. The logs they placed themselves on were moist compared to the dry cave they had found. From there they could look out onto the vast valley of the Wasskah hunting grounds. The perfect vantage point for an attack.
