Suuta pounced with a surge of energy, her two short swords, launching towards Valon. He ducked right, spinning around quickly, kicking her back and sending her to the floor. She rolled avoiding an embarrassing fall, her teeth showing at him aggressively. She came at him again, this time he through, up his staff, blocking her swords.

She swung rapidly, slicing the air, sometimes connecting with Valons double bladed staff. He kept blocking her attacks, the violent blows, forcing his to the edge of the circle. Feeling trapped, Valon jumped up, landing behind her. He used the long staff to trip her up, she landed on her side, the ground shuddered.

Valon held one end of the staff to her throat, it had sharp knives at either side and he trapped her there. Suuta slowly grabbed one of her swords, forcing Valons staff into the dirt. She rolled away once again, using her other knife to cut at his stomach, leaving a shallow gash above his belly button.

He recoiled, standing, injured. Valon stood in a defensive position, as Suuta, paced up and do2n her side of the circle. He struck first this time, knocking her left hand, disarming her of one sword. With the other, Suuta lashed out violently, cutting his tricep. Still following through with his attack, Valon twisted, pushing the blunt edge of his staff onto her back.

Falling onto her knees, she looked up, trying to see her enemy. Valon was already behind her, he grabbed her throat with the handle of the staff, not strangling her but just holding her in place. Suuta held onto the staff as tight as she could, leaping backwards she flew over him, now she was behind him.

Valon sensed her next move, dodging several stabs from her short sword, then he turned. First he struck her shoulders, then her calf, finally he stood over her standing on her chest with his heavy boot. Valon did not wish to kill her, only to make her submit, the trandoshans were powerful, aggressive warriors. No match for a Jedi however, even if he had not completed his training.

The fight was won. Suuta got up, hissing at Valon, then reaching out to shake his hand. He had won, proving himself a capable warrior and therefore he had the consent of the tribe to train their prince. The crowd dispersed, Valon gripped the wound of his arm, which was worse than the slight cut on his stomach.

"Well done, Jedi." said Suuta.

"Thank you, Queen." replied Valon.

"Go to your ship, we will bring the child to you shortly." commanded Suuta, wishing to say goodbye to her child.

"Take as long as you need." said Valon, truthfully he wanted to leave sooner, rather than later.

He went back to the Quadjumper, tending to his wounds and trying to catch his breath. The moist air left him sweaty and exhausted, he did not want to allow the trandoshans to see him weak. Before the child came to the ship, four trandoshan men came over and began fitting two large guns to the front. Valon rushed down, throwing his hands up in the air, he did not ask them to do that.

"I ask them to fit the cannons, I will not allow my son to fly in some defenseless tug" stressed Suuta, she spoke more eloquently than the others.

"What are they?" he questioned.

"Rotary laser cannons, capable of destroying star fighters and extremely fast." she explained.

"Thank you, how much do I owe you?" asked Valon.

"You us nothing, just protect my son and train him to be a warrior."

"I will."

Skaar walked through the group, confronting Valon, his green eyes looking up. He appeared tough but Valon knew it was fake, for he sensed his fear, he was ten years old. Although young, his power with the force had massive potential, much more powerful than Joi but Valon knew that with power his pull to the dark would be very high.
