I went to check on Eric before going to bed.
"Hey, are you feeling any better?" I asked.
"Not much, I don't think I'll be able to fight tomorrow." He told me.
I wanted to try to cheer him up. But I didn't know how to. I was never good at this type of thing, so I tryed my best.
"Well, maybe tomorrow Lord Hacker will kill all of us. Then, by the time that the rest of us are down to half our lives, you'll sneak up on him with all of your lives left and kill him." I hoped that it sounded better out loud than it did in my head. "You'll be our secret weapon,"
"Maybe, but, what if Lord hacker is a lot stronger than the rest of us?"
I had never though about that before. The hacker could be stronger than all of us combined, and we wouldn't even know until it was too late. I didn't know what to tell him.
"I don't know, I guess we'll just have to try our best," I replied.
Eric sighed. "Yeah, I guess."
"Look, we're still going to defeat the hacker even if you don't feel better tomorrow. I mean, even if he kills all of us, then that's just one game that he's conquered. And there's like a million games on roblox, so he'll still have like twelve million players to kill."
"Well, yeah, there's no way he'll be able to kill twelve million players twenty times." He declared.
Eric thanked me for making him feel better. Once again, I asked him if he needed anything, and just like the first time, he said no. I then left his cell. Everyone else was already in their cells sleeping. Earlier that day, all of us had chosen a cell to sleep in. I climbed the stairs to get to my own cell, which was right next to Pedro's and Iris'. But instead of getting in bed, I walked to the back of the room to look out the window.
Darkness had fallen on the prisonyard. It was hard to tell what time it was, since we didn't have any clocks or watches. But I guessed that it was about 10:30. I had wanted to get everyone in bed by 9:30, since we had to get up early. But I couldn't get anyone to listen to me. In fact, the whole day hadn't gone according to plan. I had wanted to let everyone relax for a few hours, and then start training. But then... Eric hurt his leg. After that, no one would listen to me (that was partially my fault because I'm so bad at being the leader). We ended up only getting two hours of training. I wasn't sure if that was enough or not. And now I had to find the time to train Eric once his leg healed.
I suddenly realized how tired I was. I had a lot to think about, but not enough energy to do so. I had so many questions, I didn't even know how we had gotten trapped in the game in the first place. All that I wanted to do was relax, and get a good nights sleep. Lord hacker had invaded my reality, I could only hope that he didn't invade my dreams too.

I awoke from my surprisingly deep sleep. I was glad that I didn't have any dreams about the hacker. That's when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something black. I was almost too scared to see what it was, but I couldn't just not look. So I turned my head, to see Lord Hacker sitting in a chair on the other side of the room.
He was glaring at me with his red glowing eyes.
