The Wedding/ Coronation

Day.

Part One.

Iyana Mae

The room was filled with excitement and nerves - majority of it coming from the bride herself as she was staring at her reflection in the oversized mirror. Her hair & makeup were done to perfection, not one flaw could be found on her face.

She was still in her gold silk robe that wrote the word's 'Bride', scared to even look or touch her the dress she's been dreaming of wearing since an infant, it wasn't the fact she wasn't ready it was the fact, as soon as she's in that dress it's real - the moment is there forever, her putting on the white dress of authority was the signed deal that she's in fact, getting married and on national TV.

You would think the woman who has played to millions and been on TV before she could even vote wouldn't be phased by this, however, it's her wedding and also her congregation all on the same day - she's not only becoming Christopher's wife, she's also becoming the Queen of Ecuador within 2 hours and it's all going to be viewed by 17 million people, in Ecuador alone.

The last time a royal wedding took place was 26 years ago and that was King Esteban & Queen Alicia's wedding and coronation day.

And just on cue her future Mother in Law - Queen Alicia interrupted her train of thoughts ''You are absolutely breath-taking'' in such awe.

Iyana looked at her future mother in law and grabbed her for a hug and saying ''thank you Madre''.

In the past months both Iyana and Queen Alicia have gotten extremely close, from Queen Alicia giving Iyana the ins and outs of being the Queen, with also giving Queen Alicia support from the loss of King Esteban.

''Christopher is going to faint when he sees you, Lord help us'' Queen Alicia jokingly said, while letting go of her soon to be daughter in law - they both laughed.

''I think he'll do more than just faint'' Denise chimed in winking, walking past the Popstar and Queen wearing her red silk bridesmaid robe with curlers in her hair.

''Denise, please'' Iyana sternly said, making Queen Alicia chuckle.

''She didn't lie though'' Queen Alicia cheekily added, making Iyana laugh in relief, but also having Denise shout from the other side of the room ''I told you!''

''Just finish getting ready!'' Iyana shouted back, making Princess Maria snicker in the back.

''ah, I see why my brother likes you so much'' Princess Maria said, while getting her makeup done, but looking at her phone.

''Oh?'' Iyana curiously said.

''You're like mom'' the teenager started, then quickly looked up from her phone to add ''but in a good way!''

Making Iyana smile.

''I think that's a compliment either way, mi hija'' Queen Alicia stated, while raising her eyebrow to her daughter.

''I mean...'' Princess Maria started, pouting her lips together lightly.

Before Queen Alicia could even say anything back, Mama Mae burst through the doors, hair and makeup done to the nines.

''mummy!!'' Iyana squealed, as she jumped on her mother - who has been in Ecuador since last week.

''My baby'' Mama Mae replied, squeezing her youngest daughter and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
