The Elemental Twins

Chapter 1

Ember's POV

My brother Storm and I just arrived in forks. Our dad Charlie doesn't know we are home. We had our cars shipped from Italy a week ago to the Port Angeles so that we could drive from the airport.

Storm called dad as we were walking to our cars.

(Charlie, Storm, Ember)

"Hi Storm" "Hi dad, Em is here too" "Hey dad" "Hey son, what do you guys need?" "Well we wanted to call and tell you that we are home and we wanted to know where you were" "You're home? As in like here in forks home? I'm in the hospital right now"

And with that Storm hung up the phone and the twins ran to their cars and sped to the hospital. Once they got inside they went to the front desk and started asking to see Chief Swan and the woman at the desk pointed behind them. They turned around and ran to their dad and hugged him. "Why are you in the hospital? What happened?" Storm asked his father still slightly panicking inside. He loved his father almost as much as he loved his brother so when he heard his father say he was in the hospital he feared for the worst. "You hung up before I could finish my sentence. I'm in the hospital with Bella. She had an accident but she's okay now. And I know that you guys don't get along but can you please go see her and say hi?" dad says looking at us with pleading eyes. "Fine dad but when we get home we have some stuff to talk about. We found everything out."

We entered Bella's hospital room too see 6 people aside from Bella. All vampires. I look at Storm and he looks at me. I grab his hand and hold it before he can say anything. "Bella look who's finally come home. Cullens this is Ember and Storm, Bella's younger brothers." Dad says. "Half-brothers dad. Hi I'm Storm this is my brother Ember. It's nice to meet you." Storm says. He then squeezes my hand. "Hi nice to meet you. Nice to see you Isabella." I say smiling. "It's Bella." Bella says. "Anyways, Bella I'm taking the boys home to help them unpack and get settled in. And catch up a bit. I'll be back here to see you tomorrow after my shift." Dad says. He hugs her and then we walk out.

Storm's POV

When we got to the house we headed up to our room and unpacked. When we finished unpacking we went downstairs and sat with dad. I made sure the air around the house was soundproof so that if the Cullens came to spy they wouldn't hear anything. "So dad we found out a lot of stuff." Ember said. "Like what? What caused your powers?" Dad asks. "Mom came from a long line of Elemental Witches. Witches that connected to the elements and could manipulate them as well. Mom had our powers. All of them. We guessed that when we were born her powers split between us." I start. "Mom named us to match the elements our powers were. Like Storm and Kai are names surrounding Air and Water while Ember and Jasper are names surrounding Fire and Earth." I continue. "We also found some friends during our travels. We know this may sound crazy dad but we met vampires. Like blood drinking vampires. Those Cullens? They are vampires as well. But from what the vampires we met told us, they drink animal blood instead of human blood." Ember says. "The vampires we met they are in a coven called the Voltori. They are basically vampire royalty and they enforce the vamp laws." I say. "So you guys are telling me that you guys are witches, your mom was a witch, you met vampires, your sister is dating a vampire that drinks animal blood, and all of the Cullens are vampires?" Dad says. "Yeah dad. I know it all sounds like a lot but we have always been honest with you and the Voltori told us we could tell you as long as you don't tell anyone." Ember says.

After we talked dad told us that he will enroll us in forks high tomorrow but in the mean time tomorrow Ember and I are gonna go to La Push to surprise Uncle Billy. We missed him and Jake. We told dad not to tell Billy that we were back. "Do you think it'd be safe to say that the Cullens probably were told lots of bullshit about us?" I ask Ember as he walks out of his closet. "I don't know bubba but if any of them try anything we can easily handle them. And if anyone bothers you at school you know to tell me. I'll let dad know to make sure we have all our classes together so that we can protect each other." He started. "You're my brother. And you're younger by 5 minutes and you're slightly shorter than me. Therefore I'm your big brother and it's my job to protect you." He continued. "Ember you are literally half an inch taller than me. And I'm more mature than you are. Or at least that's what Marcus thinks." I say. He rolls his eyes and sits next to me on my bed. "You're my brother. We have always protected each other. Mainly me protecting you since people can't seem to leave you alone about your appearance and sexuality. So I will fight anyone that says anything about you. Even those Cullens." He says looking at me before he grabs my hand once he sees I'm crying. "I just don't want anyone to hurt you okay? I love you so much and I can't stand seeing you in pain. We are in this together bubba." He says. "In this together forever bubba." I say learning my head on his shoulder. "Now let's go to bed. We will go see Uncle Billy tomorrow and we might even see some of our childhood friends too." Ember says pushing me over. "Like Paul? Or Leah?" I say looking up at him as he stand up. "Yeah Paul and Leah. Bubs. Now go to sleep." He says walking to his side of the room. We say goodnight and I drift off to sleep.
