Chapter 6

Storm's POV

By the time we got to lunch everyone seemed to want to flirt with us. I'd been asked out by both girls and guys and they sometimes would touch me which made me feel uncomfortable so I told Em that I wanted him to keep people away from me. I am very confident and I like getting compliments but I don't like people touching me or continuously flirting with me even after I've said no.
"Do you want me to yell at anyone Storm?" Emmett says. He was walking with Ember and I to lunch and I was telling them how people kept touching me. "I don't want anyone getting hurt but I don't want to feel uncomfortable coming to school. I feel like I would have felt a lot safer if I dressed more masculine but I don't really like dressing like that." I say. "Bubs no one should even be touching you. You don't know these people, they have no right to even put their hands on you. No matter how you are dressed. If another person touches you I want you to tell me and I'll deal with it." Ember says. "People are touching you?" Rosalie says as her and Jasper walk towards us. "Yes and it's bothering him. It's making him uncomfortable but he doesn't want anyone getting hurt because of him." Emmett says. "Storm you know if people are making you uncomfortable it's okay to say something about it. If they keep doing it I will yell at them and if they continue I'll fight them." Rose says. She grabs my hand and we hold hands as we walk to a table.

When we sat down we saw Edward, Bella, and Alice sitting at another table with some other kids. Edward got up and said something to Alice and Bella and he walked over to us on his own. He showed his phone to Ember and then us a note that asked if we could somehow make it where Alice and Bella couldn't hear us talk. We did it and nodded at him. "Ember I saw a guy in your thoughts. He had brown hair. His name was River? Who is he?" Edward says. "He's our cousin. Why?" I say. "I think he's my true mate." Edward says. Ember and I look at each other. "Can you tell me anything about him?" He says. "He's 18, he's also an elemental witch. He controls water. He has a brother named Aiden and sister named Iris. He is in his junior year. He has a mate and boyfriend named Alec. Alec Voltori. They are expecting another mate but don't know who it will be. His personality is pretty crazy he has lots of crackhead energy. His dad was our mom's brother and his mom was her best friend. He, along with the rest of our family lives in Volterra Italy, which is where we were before we came back here." Ember and I went back and forth telling Edward things. "Why do they live in Italy?" Rose asks. "After our mom died they couldn't stay here. It hurt them too much so they moved to Italy after feeling a pull towards there. They didn't want to leave us but they knew dad would take care of us." I say. "But back to River. Edward if you want to be with him and Alec you need to break up with Bella. But before you break up with her maybe first make sure that they are your true mates. So when we get home we will call them and tell them. And we will have them come here to be sure. But until then we can block your decisions from Alice that way she won't know about you breaking up with Bella if they are your mates." Ember says. "Aiden and Iris will most likely come as well and if Alec comes so will Jane since she is one of Iris's mates." I tell Ember. "Does Aiden not have a mate or mates?" Jasper says. "He will only have one mate. But he hasn't met them yet. He hopes to meet them soon though. And we hope he does because then he will finally have another happiness aside from his family and powers." I say. "Edward you better go. Bella and Alice look like they are about to get up to see what is going on." Emmett says. "Okay. But please text me and tell me what they say or tell me tomorrow." Edward says before he walks away.

Later that day Ember and I got home and we immediately called River. (Ember Storm River)
"Hey Stormy"
"Hey Riv, look Ember and I have some news. We think your other mate is here. Our sister has a boyfriend named Edward who is a vampire and he can read minds. Today he saw you in Ember's thoughts and he says he believes you may be his true mate."
"We want to be sure that he is your second mate so we want you and Alec to come and confirm it. If it is confirmed he said he will break up with Bella. But we also want you to bring Aiden and Iris and Jane."
"I get Alec but why the others? Do you think they will find their other mate and mate there too?"
"Yes, we believe our friend Jasper is Aiden's mate so we want him here to verify."
"Okay well we will be there by Saturday. It's Thursday there so we will be there soon. But tell Charlie we said we would like to meet him."
"Okay we will see you then. And we'll tell him."
*end of call*
"I'll call Rose and tell her to let Edward know." I say. "Just text her because with Alice and Esme there they could easily hear." Ember said. And with that I texted Rosalie and told her to tell Edward that River and Alec will be here Saturday. Then Ember and I went and got into Embers car and went to the diner to meet dad and Bella for dinner.
