Chapter 4

Storm's POV
When we got to our room I took Rose over to my closet. "You have an awesome Closet. Your room is so big also for an attic." Rose says. "Thanks. Dad gave us the attic and helped us remodel it when we were 10 cause we wanted to continue to share a room but what is now dad's office wasn't big enough for us to have our space." I say and we walk out of the closet. "Ember has his closet and I have mine. We have different aesthetics and styles. But sometimes when we want to match we do that." I continued.
"You guys must be really close huh?" Emmett says. "We have to be. We were born 5 minutes apart and since then we've been together. We had to deal with the abuse Bella and her mom gave us and when Renee left Bella continued on with that abuse and her mom continued as well." Ember says. "When Bella found out Storm was gay she sent some of her friends to beat him up for being gay. She called him a disgrace and threatened to kill him. He was 12." Ember continues. "If it weren't for Ember I would not have been here today. Those guys beat me to a pulp and I was in the hospital for a month. When I told dad what happened he pressed charges." I say with a small smile.

Rosalie hugged me. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that. No one deserves that. Especially not by the hands of their own sister." She said. "It's fine. I'm over it now but it does still get to me sometimes." I say. Emmett walks over. "Can you guys show us your powers more? I wanna see what all you guys can do." He asked. "Sure. But let's go into the woods. I don't want to mess anything up in here. Or else I'd have to spend the next week perfecting it again." I say. We get up and walk downstairs. We see Bella and the rest of the Cullens still in the living room with Charlie. "Where are you going?" Bella asked. "None of your business." Ember says. "According to Emmett's thoughts they are going into the woods to show them what all their powers are and what they can do." Edward says. "Reading people's thoughts without permission is rude Edward. Be respectful." I say. "Emmett, Rose, Jasper if you guys want we can make sure he isn't able to read your thoughts anymore." Ember says. "I don't think that's necessary but we would also like to see what you can do." Carlisle says. "I actually would like that very much and I'm sure the boys will too. It's not fun having someone know your every thought." Rose says. "We will do it later Rose. Carlisle, if you want to then dad will be coming as well." I say. "Well then let's go everyone. The boys and I have to cook dinner soon so we should hurry." Dad says.

We made it into the woods far enough so no one could hear or see us and Ember and I looked at each other then dad. "Alright boys we do this all the time. It's just like training but with people other than Jake and Billy watching. Em you first." Dad says.
"Everyone back up please. Give him some space." I say. Ember started with Earth. He first made a small earthquake. "Is that it?" Bella says. "No however we wouldn't want him making an earthquake for the entire world to feel now would we." I say. Ember then starts creating boulders. He sees Alice staring and throws it at her. She was still staring and when she finally realized it was heading for her she ducked before Ember made it shatter.
Carlisle, Esme, Alice, and Edward all look over at Ember when he starts laughing. "What the hell?" Alice says. "Come on Alice that was pretty funny." Jasper says. He high-fives Ember. "Okay E Fire now. Which means everyone that isn't me and dad need to back up." I say.
Ember first started with a flame in his hand then proceeded to make it bigger. He then created a dragon out of the fire. "Is that a dragon?" Emmett asks. "Yeah it's his favorite creature that has anything to do with fire although mine is a Phoenix." I say. "Okay Storm it's your turn." Dad says. "Okay so I control water and air. And what I like to do is summon birds because I have the ability to speak to them. Same as sea creatures." I say. "The ocean is a beautiful place. It holds a lot of different animals. And they all are beautiful. My favorite is a dolphin." I continue. I then create a water dolphin. Then a horse. "These two are my ocean spirit guides. They help guide me when I'm near or in the ocean." I say. I create a sphere of water and freeze it. I then throw it at Edward and Bella. Once it's over their head Ember melts it.
I make a bird call and after a minute my Owl comes and perches itself on my shoulder. "Hi Beans how are you doing?" I say. Dad and Ember walk over and give Beans a head rub. "Thank you for keeping an eye on dad for me while I was gone. I'm not gonna go anywhere for a long time now." I say to her. "Why are you talking to an Owl." Esme says. "He can talk to birds. They talk back to him." Dad says. "This is Beans I met her when I was 6. Ember and I had wandered too far into the woods and she found us. She started talking to us in comforting ways and she didn't expect me to talk back to her. I told her our address and what our house looked like and she guided us back home." I say. "After that she kept coming to visit. And Storm decided to name her and every time she would come to the house she keep an eye on them. When Storm got jumped she was who went and got Ember. When they left she continued to come over to keep me company and keep an eye on me." Dad says.
"Because Ember and I have the power to give someone one of our abilities I gave dad and Ember the ability to speak and hear Beans. I gave Jacob the ability to sense danger in the air and breath under water. Ember gave him the ability to speak to all creatures that live on land and to be immune to fire." I say. "You can do that?" Carlisle asks. "Yeah but we only do it to people we like and consider family. Dad here is immune to every creature and element. He can breath underwater and is also immune to you." Ember says. "Immune to us?" Edward says. "Meaning vampires. All vampires. Their powers and bites. We made sure that he would forever be able to be immune to vamps. We had permission to do it so when we found out about you being here and dating Bella and being around him we made sure your powers couldn't be used in him nor could you bite him." Ember says. "Why would you do that? That wasn't for you to do." Bella yells. "I asked them to. After they told me about vampires I asked them to make me immune to the bite." Dad says. "That isn't fair I didn't get a say in that!" Bella says. "It wouldn't have mattered. He wanted to feel safer and he has the right to. Not everything revolves around you." Rosalie says before walking to me to pet Beans. "Rose, Jasper, Emmett are you ready? We are gonna give you your minds back that way Edward here can't read your minds." Ember says. "I'm more than ready. Also I wanna know can I spend the night tonight?" She says. "That's fine with me Rosalie. I'm sure Edward won't mind you spending time with me." Bella says. "I wasn't talking to you I was talking to the twins." Rose says. "Of course you can. Em, Jasper if you guys want to spend the night you can too." I say. Jasper and Emmett both cheer.

After all of that I asked anyone that wasn't Rose, Emmett, or Jasper or Dad to back up. "Okay Ej you know what to do." I say. Ember then summons the fire dragon and I summon my ocean spirits and I freeze them. "Okay so Rose, Emmett, Jasper stand here in the middle and hold hands. Ember and I will stand outside of you and will be doing the spell." I say. "Once the spell is done no one will be able to read your minds. You will have the ability to allow whoever you want to read your mind and you can turn that block on and off as much as you want. We will also be connected." Ember says. "Dad make sure no one comes in the circle. You know what to do if they do." Ember says.
We started the spell and blue, white, red, and brown lights flashed through us. We continued until we felt our minds connecting with Rose, Emmett and Jasper's minds. The lights stopped flashing and we finished the spell. "Edward try reading their minds." Carlisle said.  "I can't hear anything from them." Edward says. "This is amazing." Rose says. "Okay. Rose, Jasper, Emmett. Go home and get some clothes and stuff for tonight and tomorrow. We will see you in a few. Rose hurry back I have stuff I want to show you" I say. All the Cullens and Bella leave. Dad, Ember, and I walk back home. "You guys start school tomorrow. So make sure you get up early. I'm going to Billy's he said he wanted to hangout and talk a bit. I'll be back later." Dad says. "Okay dad. But be sure to be safe. I think uncle Billy is gonna yell at you for not telling him we were back." I say.

Dad left and Ember and I rushed to cook dinner. As we were cooking we heard the front door open and close then footsteps into the kitchen. "Where's dad?" Bella asks. "He went to Uncle Billy's house. Said he would be back later. And that he'd eat there." Ember says. "You know just because Rose, Emmett. And Jasper like you now doesn't mean they won't love me when I turn. And when I do I'll make sure to come back just to kill you two disgraces to humanity." She says. We heard the door open again and the loud booming laugh of Emmett. "In here guys." I say. "Bella you do know we can hear you right? And you're wrong.  Quite frankly I prefer the twins more than you. They are less annoying and clumsy. And they are a lot better in general." Rose says. Bella screams and storms out of the kitchen and goes upstairs.

Ember and I ate and we all went upstairs to our room. I showed Rose a recent new addition to my closet that I didn't show her before. Which was a rotating clothing rack. After that we all gathered and watched. A few movies then I fell asleep.
