I sighed and groaned once again as I heard my alarm wake me up. I sat up groggily and turned the alarm off. I stretched and got out of bed feeling dizzy from the night before. I don't remember shit from last night, but I shrugged it off and took some pain killers. The only thing I remember is going to hang out with one of my friends from uni at the pub and then everything else after we got there was a blur.

I got dressed and put my hair up for today. I grabbed my school bag and my books and soon before I knew it I was walking to the bakery. I was still the slightest of dizzy, but I had to make it through the day.

The bells on the door of the bakery rang as I walked through the entrance, causing a few faces to look at me. I smiled and went up to the counter and saw a new face working there.

"Hi there, what can I get for you this morning?" A boy about my age said as I approached him, he didn't sound like he was from here. He sounded like he was American.

"Just a blueberry doughnut and a coffee please," I smile back as I look for some change in my purse.

I handed it to him and he gave me another smile. I looked at his name tag, it read 'Luke.' I watched as he prepared my things that I ordered. He handed me the doughnut first and then started the coffee machine.

"I'm sorry, but that coffee might be a few minutes. I see that you have books, so I assume that you're on your way to school. I don't want to make you late or anything," he said.

"Oh no, I have time. It doesn't start for another two hours so I'll be on time." I smiled.

He smiled and nodded as he looked away from me for a second to check the coffee machine. He came back, so I decided to make some small talk with him.

"I just can't help but notice your accent, are you from America?" I asked.

"I sure am, I moved here about two weeks ago and got a job here so that I can help support my family."

"I'm from America too, what part are you from?"

"Oh really? You don't sound like you're from America. I'm from Florida," he smiled.

"Ah, well I moved here when I was young so the british accent has just grown to me I suppose, but I'm from New York."

"Oh cool! I've always wanted to go there, what's it like?"

"Well I moved here when I was young and I haven't been back since, so I don't remember much about it but I really would like to go back sometime. I just don't have the money right now." I said.

He nodded and gave me a sincere look before going to check on the coffee. The coffee seemed to be done, so he grabbed a foam cup and wrote something on the side of it then poured my coffee.

"Come back and see us," he smiled as he handed me the cup.

I walked out of the bakery and started to walk a little bit before looking to see what he wrote on the cup. He wrote a number, which I assume is his number. I blushed and smiled as I kept walking toward the uni.

As I saw my uni in the distance I started to walk faster so that I could get to class early. I hated sitting in the back because I could never see the board from back there, so I rushed there.

Once I got there I went into the conference room and sat in the front row. I got all of my books and things set out so that I was ready when the lesson started. By looking at the board, I could tell this was going to be a boring day.

Before I knew it, I was walking home from school. I was debating whether I should call Luke or not because he was really sweet to me and I would love to get to know him. I was stopped in my tracks by the one and only Roger Taylor.

"Hi." I said quickly before trying to walk away.

"Hello there," he says as he catches up with me.

"Do you need something?"

"Yes, I wanted to ask you about last night."

"What about last night? I didn't see you or anything," I said.

"Yes, I was at the pub with Fred last night and I saw you with another bloke. When he went away I went to say hi to you, and we chatted a bit. You told me you were there to get your mind off of me," he said as he flashed a smile at me.

Fuck. Did I actually say that?

"Look Roger, even if I did see you last night, I was completely out of it. I was drunk and I don't remember shit. I would never say something like that sober." I said as I tried to walk fast to lose him.

He stayed behind, staring at me as I walked away. I could see him from the corner of my eye, and I was praying he would stay back there. Once I completely lost him, I sighed as I walked up to my flat and went inside.
