"Ey' Error, help me, I can't lift him up without straining his leg." Swapfell called. Error jogged over to the front of the bus and wrapped an arm around Dust's waist as Swapfell wrapped his arms around Dust's chest. "D-Dust t-t-this-s i-is g-g-gonn-n-na hurt-t-t no m-m-matt-t-t-er w-what.." Error told him apologetically. Dust nodded and let out a shakey breath that was more of a whimper.

"Ready..1..2..3!" Swapfell lifted Dust up partly and Error helped Dust off of the steps. Dust's foot barely touched the ground and he cried out in pain. "I-it hurt's!" He wailed. Swapfell lifted him up and carried him on his back, whispering reassuringly to him gently.

Undyne gripped Error's shoulder and yanked him to the side, fuming. "He's not going to last three days..he's pushing his limit just trying to sit comfortably. If we don't take care of that infection..if he wants to live, he'll have to lose that leg." Undyne stared down at Error with intimidating intensity. Error sighed and glanced at Dust, not being able to feel anything but empathy for the poor smaller. "W-w-we need-d-d to h-h-h-hurry-y-y.." Error murmured and Undyne nodded, returning to Alphys and whispering to her.

Error went back Ink and touched his forehead to the smaller's. "We don't have time..we have to hurry or it'll be too late for Dust..we've lost enough friends..and family.." Ink interlaced his fingers with Error's. "We have to go.." He murmured and Error nodded. "I-I'll get-t-t G-Geno-o-o..." He left Ink to gather up the rest of the supplies and went to his brother, who was clinging to Reaper, both cuddling on a boulder and mumbling to eachother. Geno looked up at Error when he approached.

"W-we n-n-need-d to hurry-y-y." Error jerked his head towards Dust and Geno glanced over. Dust was trying to get his pained cries under control. "P-p-people will-l-l hear us-s." Error hugged himself. Geno thought for a moment. "Reaper..I need you to do me a favor.." He finally spoke up. Reaper looked down, Geno giving him a firm look.

"Gen, I can't. It'll be too much pressure on your body. You're exaughested and weak enough-" Geno instany stood up, his eye flaring. "Don't you dare say that I am weak. I will not let anybody else I care for slip away! I will not lose my friebds, AND I WILL NOT. LOSE. MY. BROTHER." He roared, trembling.

Everybody else turned to stare quietly. Even Dust's cries had died down a bit at Geno's outburst. "I've lost enough people due to this world. And I won't lose anybody else. So don't you ever, call me weak." Geno glared daggers at Reaper, his eye flaring a deep red and blue as he trembled in rage. "Now..summon your blaster..and fuse it with mine so we can hurry up and get the hell out of here.." He hissed. Reaper swallowed dryly and nodded, summoning a blaster with what little energy he had. Geno summoned his, and his eye glowed in time with Reaper's.

Their blasters fused to form a skeletal beast, roughly the size of a miniature horse. Geno glanced at Swapfell and he quickly got the message, bringing Dust over and settling him down on the back of the beast. "L-lets go.." Geno murmured.

The group trailed behind silently, all feeling the waves of anger and rage coming off of Geno. Even Error knew to stay away for now. Error clutched Ink to his side, gripping a knife in his other hand with the backpack slung over his shoulder.

They walked for what felt like hours, taking cover beside an apartment building when they heard shouts and gunshots. Reaper was having no problem keeping his magic stable, but Geno was getting weaker with every step.

Dust had managed to fall asleep, finally not in as bad of pain as he was before. That was part of Geno's motivation. Dust was comfortable and not in pain, and that was enough to keep him going.

"You need to rest..you won't last much longer." Reaper murmured. "'M fine.." Geno stumbled a bit, but kept going. Geno's pupil flickered, and the skeletal thing holding Dust stumbled a bit, the glow in it's eyes starting to dull. Geno pushed himself and the blaster's eyes lit up again.

"He's going to hurt himself.." Ink murmured and Error nodded numbly. Geno coughed and slowed to a stop, clutching his chest and gulping down breaths. He trembled with exaughstion and coughed again harshly, doubling over. Reaper scooped him up as the smaller collasped, starting to go limp.

The blaster started to deform, a few of it's ribs falling to the ground as it's pupils started fading. Swapfell slid to his knees to catch Dust as the blaster collasped into nothing. Geno wheezed and gasped desperately, trying to insist that he was fine.

"Geno quit it! You need to stop! You're going to pass out." Reaper sighed aand hugged him to his chest. "Please..I'm not gonna to lose you for being stubborn..or at all.." He whispered. Geno nodded and went limp, wheezing softly.

Dust was still asleep somehow, but nobody was complaining. "S-s-seven-n-n hours-s til w-we make it-t-t out of town-n-n.." Error told the group, who simple nodded in acknowledgement.

Ink smiled softly up at Error, who raised a brow in clear confusion. "You're voice is returning to normal..you're able to push through your pixelation syndrome if you truly put yourself to the task..I believe in you Error.." He smiled and hugged the taller. "I love you so much Ruru.." Ink breathed and Error hugged back slowly. "I-I lov-v-ve you too Ink-ky.." He murmured and kissed his cheek.

"Okay love birds, we gotta get going! The sun is almost setting." Undyne called and true to her word, the sun was indeed reaching the horizon, painting the sky with blues, organges, yellows, pinks and purples. Ink smiled and quickly grabbed a piece of beat up paper and a broken pencil. He quickly sketched out the sunset and stuffed it into his pocket.

They soon left, talking amongst themselves. "And then, BOOM! I dunked the ball down on BP's head and won the game for the season!" Undyne fist bumped the air and Alphys gasped. "R-r-really? That's am-m-mazing!" She  beamed. "Yeah, even PJ was impressed!" She grinned and Alphys sighed happily. By reliving happy memories and stories, they were able to distract themselves from the fact that their home had been destroyed, friends and family ripped away and everything at a loss.

Reaper carried Geno silently, occasionally giving him soft kisses, making the smaller purr quietly. "I'm sorry for getting mad.." Geno whispered. "You have every right to be mad, stressed, angry, pissed etc. I'm sorry I overstepped your boundaries, I didn't mean to upset you.." Reaper nuzzled him. "It's okay..it's just a hard time..it's been a living hell for everybody.." He smiled softly.

"I love you." Reaper murmured.

"I love you too.."

"So will you quit straining yourself and actually take breaks?"

"Mm...maaaybee.."

"Genoo.."

"Fiine."

"Good."

They both shared a quick kiss, and Reaper kept walking with an extra motivation to keep him going.
