It had been two days since Error passed out. He hadn't dusted, but that did very little to ease the tension.

Dust had gotten used to using an old plank that Reaper had carved into a crutch like design, and it did wonders for Dust.

The brothers and Ink took turns watching over Error, and Alphys was looking over an old map of the city, which happened to have been in a newspaper that had magically been set on fire. They assumed that when it rained it saved most of the paper.

She was trying to look at routes to take in case if they need to evacuate.

Swapfell and Undyne used sharp sticks to spar in another room in case they had to do close up attacks or if their guns ran out of ammo.

Ink usually was found pacing endlessly in the hallway. He often did that when he couldn't stop thinking. He only stopped when he was either told to or when his legs grew too tired.

Nobody questioned how Reaper knew how to do the things he did, but they were amazed and very grateful.

Turns out Geno was dating a survival genius. Killer was sharpening his knife and Fresh was talking with Dust and Geno was in the hallway with Ink, chatting quietly.

"I can't believe he tried to kill himself because of me.." Ink mumbled. "Ink we've been over this..he's okay now. Just cherish the fact that he's alive!" Geno rested a hand on Ink's shoulder.

Ink blinked rapidly and shoulders drooped a bit. "Okay." He murmured. "Ink? Are you okay?" Geno mumbled and Ink looked up. "I feel fine?" Ink cocked his head the slightest bit.

His eyes were dull and white. "I'll go get your viles..stay there." "Okay."

Ink was left alone and he gazed around. "Everyone seems so sad now. I don't understand." He murmured.

Geno came back with a brown looking vile. "A mixture of then all. Except the black one of course." He popped the cap off and gave it to Ink, who quietly thanked him.

He drank the paint and grimaced, sticking his tongue out in disgust.
He blinked and the shapes and colors returned.

"Nice to have you back Ink." Geno clapped him on the shoulder, grinning. Fresh came running out of the room, panting. "HE'S AWAKE!"

Instantly Geno ran in. Ink tried to follow but Fresh stopped him. "Lets us tell 'im yer alive broksie. It's best to sit dis one out for a sec." Fresh frowned apologetically as Ink's broken expression.

Error hiccuped and gripping onto Geno tightly, sobbing and apologizing over and over. Geno didn't say anything, crying into Error's jacket.

"N-never d-do that AGAIN!" Geno shouted and Error flinched. "I-i'm not losing you too..." He hiccuped.

"I-I'm sorry.." Error whispered.

"Yo. We gots a gift for ya." Fresh hugged Error's shoulder. "But don't be doin that...we wouldn't know wat to do without ya.." Error leaned on Fresh.

"W-what do you mean..gift?" Error looked up. "You can come in now.." Geno called softly and Ink walked into the room, holding his hands together, although there was pain his in right arm, it was nothing compared to the pain of heartbreak.

Error glitched and his breath caught. He slowly stood and went over to Ink. "Y-you're r-real..?" He slowly cupped Ink's cheek.

"As real as I can be baby.." Ink whispered and Error hugged him tightly, instantly breaking down into loud wails and choked sobs.

Error slowly fell to the floor and Ink went with him, hugging him like a life raft. Error glitched madly and Geno glitched too, holding his head. Reaper took Geno out of the room incase Error crashed.

Error gripping onto Ink, slowly getting weaker. Error finally caught his breath and pulled away, still crying and shaking.

Ink kissed him softly and used his sleeve to wipe Error's eyes. "I'm so sorry.." He whispered and Error whimpered, hugging him again. He seemed like a terrified little child and it broke Ink's heart.

Error soon went limp and Ink knew he passed out. He had no words..no more apologies..all he had was guilt.

In the other room, Reaper and Geno were bickering. "We have to leave." Reaper hissed. "We can't! Error's exhausted and Ink barely survived a bullet!" Geno shot back.

"I understand that but we can't hide out here like cats in a rainstorm forever!" Reaper struggled to keep his voice down.

"Oh. I see. Would you rather us hide out here like people trying to survive from having our throats ripped out and bullets searing through our chests? Cause that one seems REAL great to me." Geno growled.

"That's not what i'm saying here and you know it." Reaper growled quietly. "You. Don't. Scare me." Geno's eye flared and Reaper stood up all the way.

"I dunno which it is, but either you've gotten protective because of this hellhole, or pregnancy making you a bitch." Reaper snarled and shoved past Geno, going into another room and slamming the door shut. Geno was frozen, his eye dark and his chest tight.

Well what a father he is..

Maybe he's right. You aren't cut out for having a kid.

You might as well feed yourself to those things outside. You'd do everyone a favour. Including Reaper.

Heh, you really are a bitch.

Geno trembled, unable to move or to speak. He could barely think and breathe and his soul raced.
He slowly rested a hand on his stomach.

"W-we don't n-need him.." Geno whispered.

Or is it him that doesn't need us?

Or...is it him that doesn't need me?
