Okay, The Outlander is the most amazing creation ever, I just can’t. Have any of you read the book/seen the series?

Anyhow…Here’s an update! Took me a while, I know, sorry! I’ve had the idea in my head but I could not find the time to write it up. I’ve been super busy with work. Hope you like the chapter and please vote and comment!

Last week the FanFic was #80 in ChickLit, which is great and I’d love for it to climb higher up the Wattpad ladder :))

The moment that the mere thought of having some breakfast had crossed Chloe’s mind, a hard lump immediately caught in her throat. Her stomach churned painfully and she sensed the nausea spreading up from her insides, creeping in. She soon found herself crouching over the toilet and gagging her soul out. Afterwards, she did feel a small sense of relief, but the nausea still settled deep within her. She was not used to any this. Four years ago, while she was pregnant with her daughter, she felt divine, absolutely blissful. Chloe remembered her body feeling light, her skin being clear and glowing and her mood mostly great. She could recall maybe four cases of being sick when she was carrying Tyra. This time around, she constantly felt sick and stressed.  Brushing her teeth vigorously, Chloe glanced at herself in the framed mirror. She noticed tears nestling in the corners of her eyes. She couldn’t help it, whenever she was sick, her eyes would tear up.

Here’s all your shit, I pulled it up the stairs for you but you’ll have to do the unpacking yourself-“ Chloe heard Brian grunting tensely in the hallway and a second later her Louis Vuitton luggage flew into the room, sliding across the parquet floor until it bumped into the foot of the bed. She blew her nose, which had clogged up a little and waited for Brian to appear in the doorway. He was rubbing his tired arms when his gaze met Chloe’s face. His face dropped at the sight of her. “Are you okay?” Brian asked, his brow crinkling in a concerned matter.

Chloe shook her head, “Yes, I was sick, that’s all…” She assured him and sauntered across the room to where her suitcase hit the bed. She flipped it over and an involuntary groan slipped past her lips. She still felt poorly and even somewhat weak. “It’s okay, you can go.” She mumbled when Brian would just there, watching her unzip the suitcase. His presence made her uncomfortable, she hated being watched like that and it did nothing to help the way she had been overall feeling.

“You’re obviously not fine…” She heard Brian saying and looked up at him. “I can see you’re not well. I’ll help you…” He said simply and she felt shivers spread down her arms. He hadn’t spoken to her since the previous day’s afternoon and judging by the tone of voice he had stormed into the room with, he still did not want much to do with her either. She didn’t want him to pity her and to come help her just because he was feeling guilty about the way being pregnant with his child affected her health. Also, it seemed pretty clear to her that he was just sticking around and looking out for her because she was pregnant. After all, he did say so himself.

“No, there’s really no need…” She mumbled and began pulling her neatly folded pants out of the suitcase and stacking them on the bed, each time she ducked forward, a painful dizziness shot through her head. “Go back to whatever you were up to…” She said. She truly did not want to bother him any more than she already had. He had taken her to the hospital and stayed by her side, then took her home and still found the strength to have a very charged conversation with her and now he was willing to help her with chores. All of this after she told him she wanted to break up. No, she could not ask him to help her again, he had done enough.

“Chloe, I’m not a pig. I’m going to help you and that’s it.” Brian stated and closed his hands on her arms and drew her back from the suitcase. His touch sent shocks of electricity down her spine, which resulted in shivers crawling down her arms. Chloe felt the heat rush to her cheeks, she knew he could feel her shiver, and he only touched her very lightly. “C’mon…Step aside…” He murmured and moved her carefully. She turned around and looked into his eyes again.
