Chapter 08

It's been a week Jimin and Eunji didn't talk to each other. Taehyung notices that she was not in a good mood to talk. Not just him, Shin Hee and her other friends also notice the changes from her.

"She still didn't tell you anything?" Han Bin suddenly spoke breaking the silence. Shin Hee nodded with sighs.

"Yeah. I don't know what else to make her speak." She said.
"Actually, what happened that night? Taehyung, she's your best friend. Didn't she tell you anything?" She added curious about what happened to her before she came back to their cabin at the party.

"No. Next morning I wake up, I was in Jackson's cabin. He said I was passed out because of drunk. I don't remember anything else happen that night." He said while looking at Eunji who is in her own world.

"Wait a minute. You were in Jackson's cabin that night but Jackson said he was with her fiance." Hae Joon suddenly spoke. Taehyung surprised and tried to avoid their stare.

"Yeah. After he sends his fiance back to her room." He said tried to convince his friends.

"Who are you gonna lies? Jackson and Hana spending time all night together that night. I witnessed with my two eyes." Hae Joon added and suddenly gasped.
"Don't tell me you hooked up with someone that night." He said.

"No! I won't do that."

"Then where were you that night?" Han Bin asked. Taehyung looks at him and not sure if he should tell them or not. He looks at Shin Hee who is trying to avoid him.

"I... I don't know how but eventually I was in Eunji's cabin."

"Eunji? But she is not there except... Shin Hee. Did you two...?" Hae Joon glance at Shin Hee smirking.

"What the hell are you thinking? I'm not that idiot to hook up with him." Shin Hee said as she gets up from there feeling annoying with her friend.
"Let's go, Eunji. You need some rest." She said and tugging her friend's arm. Eunji looks up and decides to follow her.

Just the two girls went out of the cafe, some stop in front of them. Eunji looks away and walk pass the person but got pulled to the car.

"Let me go! What do you want?" She suddenly shouts while Shin Hee just watching at them at the side.

"We need to talk."

"We have nothing to talk about!"

"Is that how you talk to your uncle, Eunji? I never teach you to talk like that to the older."

"Then, don't say anything! Get lost!" She said angrily and walk faster to get away from there. Jimin really irritating by her tempered. He quickly follows her and carries her to his car.

"Inform her teacher that she will be not in classes for a while." Jimin said to Shin Hee as he gets into the car.

Eunji slammed the door and locked in as soon as she entered her room. Jimin follows her and uses the duplicate key to unlock the door.

"What with this attitude, huh? Do you think I won't dare to hit you because you're a girl? Remember that I am your guardian right now."

"You are selfish! Who are you to do so to me? You just an outsider! Do you think you deserved all of these things? That does not belong to you! These all mine! Mine!" Eunji suddenly shouts. Jimin just silent at the moment before he softly said.

"Yeah. I know that. I don't mean to take it from you. From today, I won't touch any of yours. I just an outside. Who am I to deserve all of this?" By that, he went out of the room. Eunji was crying feeling so hurt by his words. She doesn't mean to say that but she everything was late. She already did it.

Later that day, Eunji came down with headaches. She looks around but no one was around. When she enters the kitchen, she saw someone was sitting at the dining table.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" She asked the man who is sitting there. The man stands up and looks at her.

"I'm Jung Soo. Sir Jimin hire me to take you to hometown. He already left two hours ago." He said.

"Why should I go back to hometown? I don't want to."

"But... Sir Jimin said tomorrow is your parent's death anniversary. He took a week leave for you." He added when notice that she was confused why she would reject that.

"W-why he does not tell me directly?"

"He tried to but you keep decline his call. He plans this for a week ago. He postponed all the meeting to next week." He said. Eunji feels guilty of what she had said to him earlier without knowing the truth.

"Then, why are not you with him? Did he drive himself?"

"No. He took a cab. I asked him why and he said that he wants to be alone for a moment. Also, he left this to you." He said reaches out the brown envelope to her. Eunji opens it and saw all his credit cards and license with a little note.

'I give back what have your parent give to me. I didn't want to owe you anything. In future, we are strangers. After this, the company will be given back to you. Don't worry I won't take anything from yours. It's not mine after all. Take care of yourself. I'm sorry that I can't be a good uncle for you. And thank you for all your kindness. Bye, Eunji.

Eunji didn't know what she should do. All her mind is gone blank when saw the content of the letter. He leaves. That was when she realises that she was too means toward him. She admits that she hates him because she couldn't stop to love him. Every time she faces him, she can't control her feeling. The more he cares for her, the more she fell for him.
